Waimea Urgent Care

Got me in quickly and had me on my way in 45 minutes. The doctor was thorough, staff was friendly, and the entire visit was top notch. So nice to be able to visit the Ig Island and know that these guys are here if we need them!

These folks were just amazing! I went in very worried about a serious health issue and left with my worries greatly reduced. They were knowledgeable, competent, and kind! Great folks, great service.

I checked the hours on the clinic's website before leaving our house as it was later in the day. We arrived by 5: 55PM, a full 35 minutes before the posted closing time of 6: 30PM. So we were dismayed to see the sign in the window say 'Closed'. We then observed a nurse leaving the clinic and, when we knocked on the Check-In window to inquire, the receptionist opened the blinds but wouldn't open the window, so we could barely hear her. I found this somewhat rude as they weren't supposed to close for another 30 minutes, so surely she could have opened the window to speak with us. She told us we would have had to have arrived by 5: 40PM. I'm not sure why you have a large banner in front of your establishment stating you're open until 6: 30PM if you actually have to be there 50 minutes prior. How is one supposed to know this? The urgency here does not seem to be on patient care but rather getting home. They weren't swamped with patients - they were going home early.

Dr. Quirk was fantastic with us. She was patient, nice and friendly. She took care of my wounds very carefully and made the whole experience painless.

Dr. Q.was excellent, made sure all questions/concerns were addressed. Went in on Sunday around noon, one person before me. Staff was professional and friendly too.

Efficient, kind, and I received the care needed. As someone vacationing on the Big Island, I was relieved to be able to find this walk-in place.

The check in was fairly Straight forward. Filled out the forms in the car and waited them to call my phone for my turn to be seen. Once seen the nurse and doctor were as friendly and accommodating as imaginable. My 93 year old father and I had the best experience possible. Thank you for helping us out on holiday weekend.

One of the worst urgent cares you could go to. The prescribing doctor prescribed medication that was restricted in the country. Then calls with an attitude to tell me the pharmacy said they never talked to me. The pharmacy then says the doctor only called to change the prescription. This doctor's office has their head up there u know what and decides they are going to call the cops rather than have customer service and reconcile. I highly recommend going to ER rather this JOKE of an office.

My son needed urgent medical care while visiting Hawaii, so I took him to Waimea Urgent Care. It was late in the day, closing time, and I did not know if he would be accepted. Without hesitation or delay, Waimea Urgent Care got him in for an exam and treatment. I am so thankful for the kindness and compassion demonstrated by every staff member during my son’s visit. Nurse Practitioner Lokenani Souza was empathic, skilled, and provided exceptional care. I highly recommend Waimea Urgent Care.
