10Lovely views of the Waianae valley and ocean! Trail is pretty clearly marked but narrow in a few places. Took us about 40mins to get to the pillboxes at the top, about 20mins to get down.
Pill box trail. Great challenging but do able hike! So much fun and amazing views at the top and on the pill boxes. Lots to explore! Great small shave ice place down the road as a great treat after called Dan Maili.
Great hike with amazing views at the end. I did it solo. It took about 90 minutes round trip. It was not that easy if a hike. I would not recommend it for children unless you are prepared to spend more time. I would do this hike again next time I come back.
On the moderate side of easy and worth while for sure! The views up top are spectacular and for a moderately chill hike- why wouldn't you go? You park right on the side of the street and you'll see two narrow slim trails that lead up. Plenty of small stops along the trail to rest so take your time. Took us 40 mins to get to the hot pink pill and 23 mins to come back to the car. Bring cool water and sunscreen and you're ready to go.
Beautiful hike. Very much along the pines of the Lanikai Pillbox hike with more greenery. The views are spectacular and the pillboxes are so much fun! Take a marker to leave your insta so people can see your pictures! I'd recommend for older kids, probably not younger ones. I saw a few pups but I wouldn't recommend extra large dogs you ant pick up.
A somewhat short trail but a great workout as you gobstraight up the side of the mountain.amazing views at the top!
It took around 45 min to get to the top. There were parts where we had to use rocks as steps. Might not be hike for the kids. Otherwise easy to hike with an amazing view.
Great hike but suggest you go early morning or evening. No shade on trail. Love the views from the top. Enjoy!
