This store is dreadfully understaffed. They have three lanes in operation and one of those three lanes is a 15 items or less lane. When I finally found an employee working in the produce section I asked if they were understaffed, and where the managers were to help because the lines are backed up clear to the back of the store, however the employee clearly didn’t care and I was informed that yes, they must be understaffed. Poor customer service on that part of that particular man (because I have spoke with many other staff members at this establishment who have been overly helpful and kind), over priced product, and an overall lack of concern for their customers, this store is a sad reflection of life to come under corporate rule. Managers counting out drawers when they should be assisting customers make for disgruntled customers, but keep in mind that this is what corporate requires them to do. I can assure you that if they offered living wages, and dependable, fully staffed shifts, they would not have so much trouble keeping their employees. It’s easy to get upset at the employees because they are the ones we interact with, but the true issue is the people at the top who believe that their fiscal gain is more important than anything else.
This is not the fault of the employees, but rather that of those who own Whole Foods.
Two stars because most of the employees are wonderful people doing the best with the what power they feel they have. Everything else can be bought at any of the pre-existing health food stores on the island. Whole Foods is not needed for survival.

People there are great but the elitest long line every time isn't like make the prime saving s for everyone one less thing to scan purposely making lines longer for dogs to wait for their fancy food treat is a dated psychological trick. Do away with that. And if owner guy has issues.work on them Jeff

Whole paycheck? Yes. Very humid, damp stores. For the prices charged, I should feel like I’m walking in to heaven.

The only Whole Foods in Maui! Actually, most products are cheaper than other supermarkets and I go there for "organic" food!

They had delicious pre-made salads and an excellent wine selection. That said, we got pizza from their deli, and to be honest, neither of us were able to finish it. I'm assuming it had been sitting out for hours.hard, cold, and dry. I was also surprised to see that there weren't any local mangos for sale. The thing that really put me off was the cashier. She wasn't friendly at all! I work in customer service, so I know how tiring it can become, but every customer should be treated with kindness and respect.that's what makes people return to your establishment.

Ridiculous how this store has lately been more attentive to tourists! And let a woman, "a Karen" who could not wait patiently like other responsible reasonable customers, cut thru and open a check out line just for this woman who thinks she's better than others! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I think the headquarters Amazon company should do something about this appalling customer service policy!

Everytime I come there is a 2 hour line with only 2 registers open. You’re making good money off of us. Stop being so cheap, we have life’s you know.

Most of the time, it's actually cheaper than buying in other stores on the island and they obviously have more local and organic products. Too bad they don't have a store in Lahaina.

I wish all their milk was not ultra pasteurized.
Milk that lasts three months but tastes like plastic.

Many items often sold out. Selection of cold cuts/ cheeses very limited.
Dairy dpt.looks dirty and understocked. Hot dishes uninspiring.
Store needs radical overhaul starting with general manager.

So for some reason the lines are always long. I usually check out at the coffee bar when its open. This 5 star review is for the $8.99 chicken ceasar salad. Its so good i has to post a review. I didn't eat the chicken or use the lemon. But the rest i ate all of it. I really appreciate the generous portion of Parmigiano and the well seasoned croutons. The dressing was garlicky in a good way.

Store is Fantastic best selection of food on Maui love this store its a bit spendy but you get what you pay for!

This is the worst Whole Foods I've ever been to. Place is a mess, most shelves are empty and the store looks like its going out of business.
