Yaki Yaki Miwa, Honolulu HI

Absolute best okonomiyaki I've had since my last time in Japan. Can't recommend it enough.

Authentic Japanese teppanyaki!
The food here is always good and it's like being back in Japan. The taste is clean, fresh, and full of rich flavors. A must have is the okonomiyaki! They have different types to chose from, our favorite is the Miwa's special tama. The garlic fried rice and sobameshi are just as amazing. The kimchi is made in house, if you like kimchi definitely try it here. Bring your family and friends because it's a good time! The service is timed great and the workers are friendly. There's parking in the back but we normally park on the street since it's free in the evening. Got plenty street parking too.

As close as you can when it comes down to kansai cuisine in Honolulu county. Just make sure you make a reservation ahead of time.

Came in off the street after a massage in a haze and was warmly welcomed. Had no idea on the food but simpley ordered the chefs special and was blown away by the smells, sounds sights of the chef working and had a truly gormund experience.

The food is good in general, however, the serving speed is extremely slowly…. If you want to stay there for the whole night for dinning, then it’s your place….

Very excellent food and the service was amazing. Yaki Soba Noodles from Japan and all food taste so fresh. The Asahi draft beer was crisp smooth cool and refreshing! I recommend making reservations as seating is limited. I give 5 stars for the genuine experience. Arigato Gozimas Yaki Yaki Miwa! PS Manager Yuji is the man!

Food was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommend the garlic ahi tuna. Will come back definitely.

Not great. It's dry and bonito "flakes" not flakes. It's powder. (read: cheap kind)

Good customer service. But the service between each order is a bit off. Would definitely come back for the food thoe.

Okonomiyaki are delicious! I love the intimate atmosphere, but it’s very laid back.

Great food and great service. The chef instantly found out my bf’s hand is injury. So he brought us a fork.
We ordered the okonomiyaki, salted yaki soba and beef tongue. I especially like beef tongue here because most of restaurants serves thin slice of beef tongue. Their beef tongue is thick cut so the texture is very chewy.

Great ambiance I felt like I was in Japan! My girlfriend is from Kansai and absolutely loved the okonomiyaki. We will definitely be back.

Pro tip, try the sweet potato and ice cream for dessert.
