Paul Bunyan Restaurants reviews
17Been coming here for 15 years always loved the food and the staff. Right now I wouldn't even bother coming!
Unsure if it's known, but the drive thru speaker is I desperate need of repair! I couldn't clearly hear the person taking my order, and apparently she/ he couldn't hear me either cuz after several times repeating ourselves i asked for a couple ranch packets, they asked me ' that was a BBQ &, fry sauce right! ' LOL finally I just said ya that'll work! Other than that everything else was alrigh
.
I'm so done with this place in Post Falls. Again forgot 1 of my dinners went back and the manager just about accused me of lying.but will give me another dinner cuz she said she couldn't prove i didn't! Oinon rings were not even eatable. Finger steaks again were overdone. I keep thinking maybe food would get better but no such luck.
I come in everytime i have to go to stateline from spokane. Im addicted to the steak fingers and you wont find better onion rings anywhere. Prices are much lower than any other place around. Definitely recommend. But i dont like how they hoard the ketchup. They dont give you enough and look at you like your high when you ask for more lol
That was the most disgusting cheeseburger I have ever had. It smelled like body odor. I tried a bite and couldn't finish. The girls at the counter were nice.
Manager at this store encourages employees to drop "rude customers" food on the floor and still serve it. She is a nasty vile lady who clearly isn't sanitary
I came into the Post Falls location today and ordered a Triple Jumbo Cheese with only Mayo and Onions and an extra patty. When I received my burger it had Ketchup, Mustard and Pickles on it. I told the woman at the counter that this was not what I ordered and that I requested only mayo and onions. Instead of offering to fix the mistake she had the audacity to say that I did not order that and proceeded to be very rude and verbally aggressive with me. I was polite and asked her to not argue with me. I informed her I eat at this restaurant multiple times a week and order the same thing every time. I know what I ordered. My coworker who I was with attested to the fact that I did request only mayo and onions. Instead of apologizing she continued to be rude and begrudgingly took the burger back to be remade. I spend a lot of money at this restaurant as I eat there 2 to 3 times a week. If this is how the employees are treating customers I do not think I will be back for a long time.
I love this place it's a local favorite. Employees are great quick service and friendly service. Along with great prices, i mean a double bacon cheeseburger for under $5 bucks, or now that's the deal. Worth a visit so go check them out.
Their cooking is not consistent. I always ask for well done. I get burgers with red centers. Disgusting and gross. The meat is probably the cheapest deal found on the market. Meat is supposed to be cooked to 165 degrees. Onion rings are either not done enough or burned and to salty. I realize the staff is a bunch of teenagers, but they should be trained properly!
Service is quick & friendly. Staff is very helpful about menu questions. The food was delivered quickly as well as hot. It tasted good (cod fish & chips). Tartar sauce is good & in the right amount (I like vinegar-but didn't ask if they have it since I liked the tartar sauce). The milk shake varieties are fabulous. The burgers taste good. I like that they have fries or tater tots. Staff was busy cleaning when not taking orders or serving food. It was about 45 minutes before closing time but we never felt rushed. Staff was helpful about where to find places in town along with some history about the area & the restaurant itself. I want to add that 3 stars for the atmosphere only means it's a fast food, family friendly place & not a "fancy" candle light, table cloth/napkin, etc type place.
Awesome as always! Went through the drive through so still a 4 star atmosphere lol. If you haven't been to a Paul Bunyans yet, shame on you hahaha
This review is mixed and takes into consideration the low cost. Fried pickles were excellent but the burger patty was very thin and lacked flavor. Styrofoam cups downgraded the experience some. Overall the food quality and experience aligned well with the less than $7 meal price. The venue offered a 30-year throwback vibe. Friendly customer service.
1 star is because I like the food, minus 4 because it takes 20 minutes just to get two burgers or even have my money taken for that matter.
Shouldn’t even get a star, horrible service, rude employees, liars there was 6 cars in the drive through at about 7 o’clock and they messed my order up, they told me they wouldn’t remake it unless I waited in line. And we all know they take forever anyway! Thank you for you horrible service
Food is always good but the drive thru seems to take forever and the location of how it blocks is also not conducive for other drivers trying to get in line or pull out.
I enjoy the food but hate your short hours. How do you stay in business closing so early all the time. I hate McDonald’s but they stay open late too. I understand you’re hiring high school kids and that’s great. But they’re limited in working later hours. We get out of church around 8 and you’re closed. We have a desire for milk shakes after getting back to post falls from work and you’re closed. Many other burger joints are open but I don’t patronize them. Your business used to be open later but not now.
Okay, I shouldn't be eating fast food, but Paul Bunyan's doesn't count.
A) It's not really very fast, but if you're a local, you know that and you know why. Their food doesn't sit for days under a heat lamp. They start the order when you place the order, which is very nice.
B) You won't find a more extensive selection of drinks and shakes at any drive through in the region.
C) They have legitimately good sides and more than just fry's and onion rings.
D) The burgers are actually tasty. You can eat a Paul Bunyan burger plain. Try that at any other drive through, I dare you.
E) The staff is great; happy, good natured and engaging.
