CaringSmiles 4U: Juanita R Taylor, DDS - Dentist in Indianapolis reviews
17First thing, get there have a 1: 00 appt and the Dr is sitting in her car at 1: 03 with 5 people in the lobby and her assistants walking in after… she then rolls down her car window to tell me that my support animal isn’t welcome inside. Mind you he had on his vest and everything… Then she questions “what is he supporting” i would say that this office is very unprofessional. Find somewhere else to go.
My kids have been going here sense they were all one! They are 11,6,8! I love Dr Taylor and her staff. I always recommend everyone to go here when they are looking for recommendations, I Have never had a bad experience she and her staff always tell me what they need to do to my kids teeth ahead of time. Anytime I have questions and concerns they answer them. All their dental work is always done in a friendly and fast manner. I wish I could give them more stars… thanks caringsmiles4u family.
Love the way they docs handle my babies love the way the interact with the kids and they're so polite definitely recommend all to come
If you like rudeness and unprofessional and to be yank around this is the place for u someone need to think about a career change immediately
DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! Look carefully through the reviews! She will say they have cavities that they do not have. My child came to her whom is autistic and non verbal and at the time only 4! At the first visit she said that she wanted to place my daughter on a watch for about 4 of her teeth. When we came back the second time she recommended around 7-8 fillings. This made no sense to me since we had upped her oral routine since the last visit and also had cut down on all sweets and anything damaging. This immediately through up a red flag. What made it even worse is that the anesthesiologist cost was way too high and insurance was not going to pay for it. The only other option was a weighted blanket to hold her down during surgery could you imagine the torture. This would have also been had to come out of pocket. When I went back to my car I had a gut feeling just like others are saying in the comments and I knew something was wrong. I went and got a second opinion from W. 10th St.dental and still ro this day she does has not had any cavities till this day. I want to warn any parent to please double check any feelings or any cavities that this dentist may say that your child has before you begin with any type of treatment.
STAY AWAY! Dr. Taylor is very UNPROFESSIONAL & UNETHICAL! They strapped my child down. He was in pain crying and she would not let me soothe him nor checked if he was fully anesthetized. I asked about nitrous and she refused to provide my child with necessary treatment. She was rude and even yelled at me and her assistant. She lacks compassion and patience which is more than needed when working with children. I have a voice recording of my son that I sent to my husband. It is terrifying. To top it off the crowns she placed are crooked and my child is still in pain to eat. I will be putting a complaint with the IDA and the Indiana attorney general for the awful treatment she provided.
The staff are really nice, gave detailed information about the plan of care. Dr. Taylor is really nice and professional. I am glad I chose this office for my family.
I’ve been with Caring Smiles for over 8 years now and Mrs. Taylor has always been my primary care. I’ve had extractions, fillings, and anything you can think of that hurts. I will say that’s she and her team always take their time and shows a lot of tlc to their patients. I do respect the fact that she keeps it raw and honest yet respectful when letting me know what I’m doing right and wrong. I now have braces and will continue to keep coming where I’m comfortable and where the staff is genuine!
