Kid's Dentistree reviews
20The staff was really friendly and helpful. Dr Wilson was great with my son. My son has autism and they were very patient and understanding with him. Happy with our second visit!
My children have been going here for years, all the staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. They are great with kids!
Dr Kumar poked Isaac's gingival line so hard that it bled and was painful after his visit. We would prefer that he only see Dr Wilson in the future, please. This is the only complaint we've ever had regarding Kids Dentistree but I feel that it is a significant one. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Michelle Edwards (Isaac's mom)
The employees/staff have always been so kind and welcoming. They’re wonderful with young children, and the Doc is fantastic. Highly recommend
So fast and efficient. My kids are very comfortable here. The staff is very friendly and patient.
Wonderful place, great atmosphere and knowledgeable denist and staff. Wish I could select more than 5 stars for this review!
Very nice place, friendly staff at the front and in the back. My kids enjoyed it as much as you can enjoy a dentist visit
We have not had a bad experience and my 2 year old daughter does great in the chair with the assistant and the dentist. Dr. Kumar has a very positive attitude and is great with my daughter.
The office staff and providers are all great with kids! My 18 month old son had a great experience.
We had the most AMAZING experience with the entire staff here at DentistTree in new Albany! Extremely kid friendly environment and extremely friendly for the parents as well all staff from the front desk to the specialist for the young kids (2yr old) that sang the Sesame Street song while cleaning her teeth and dr. Kumar for my 14yr old with extremely high anxiety. They really have this pediatric side of dentistry on point in their practice! From the bathrooms to the prize they received at the end, we are going to be looking forward to our next cleaning in 6mo! Shout out to our dental hygienist as well, she really went above and beyond!
We love this dentist! They are so good with my now 2.5 year old, and we’ve been going there for a year!
Simply love kids dentistree! Dr. Wilson and the staff are amazing! They make my kids experience fun and comfortable! Stay awesome!:)
Receptionist, dental hygienist and dentist are excellent. We’ve been going here for years and have had only great experiences.
I’ve been coming here for over 8 years. Absolutely love this place and the staff. Always so sweet and accommodating. We see Dr. Kumar he’s always so good with the kiddoes. Great place!
Very long wait today for first appointment of the day. We waited an hour for the dentist. Always great care here and usually no wait, sometimes things happen, understandably.
It was a pointless trip. They called my son’s name and he put down his toys in the waiting room and told the lady he was following that he wanted to keep playing when they were done. She told him, AND I QUOTE, “When you’re done we want you to leave so we can go to lunch. ”
I honestly couldn’t believe it.
That’s not how you speak to a patient, especially a 3 year old. Her “bedside manner” continued to prove that she had no idea how to speak to or work with children. Then they proceed to tell us that if he doesn’t sit in the chair and cooperate that there was nothing they could do because the dentist wasn’t a pediatric dentist. I asked, “Why is he here? ” They said for the older kids who will sit still. I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I was at the “Preteen and Adolescent Dentistree”. I understand it’s difficult when they are fighting, but when we go to Scottsburg, they just put their heads down and do what needs to be done, even if that means holding him down. And even then they are more respectful than this staff was. I’m not sure why it was so impossible to work with a kid who was scared of the electric toothbrush. He couldn’t even tell us if the tooth in question had a cavity or not. The dentist himself wasn’t rude or mean, but he provided virtually no service. I wonder why someone would hire a dentist at the KID’S Dentistree who can’t work with kids…? Seems like a no-brainer.
So we left with absolutely no more answers than we came with. It’ll be Scottsburg only from now on. Thank goodness we got out of there with 20 minutes to spare before the lunch break, though!
(The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful and is the reason for the second star)
Got us in quickly for a chipped tooth, and were very pleasant at seven in the morning. Dr. Wilson explained all of our options and was great with my son. Heather was extremely helpful in getting us scheduled
Staff is super friendly, the doctor is so nice and comforting to my littles. I tried a different office because we moved last year and I came right back to this one. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for my littles.
Very welcoming! They explained everything to my child so there were no surprises and she felt comfortable! Dr. Kumar was very knowledgeable and thorough.
I’m soo happy I found this dentist that caters specifically to kids! They put me at ease with every visit! Amazing staff and understanding doctors!
