Action Realty was great to us all the way around. Very rapid response to any service call and customer service from the office has always been professional. They will work with you to help you find just the right living space. Always very polite and kept great communication to the tenant.

Working with this company has been very pleasant. Communication has always been prompt and polite. The office staff is helpful and dependable.

Action Realty has managed our properties for 10 years and we are very grateful for their integrity and great service. We have referred other landlords to them and will continue to do so.

I rented from Action Realty from March 2019-August 2020. If I ever had a problem, they fixed it in a timely manner. Like all landlords, they expect rent to be paid on time and for you to maintain the property. They were also fair when returning the deposit upon me moving. I moved out of Iowa and bought a home in Oklahoma. I did not get my full deposit back, but I expected not to because the house needed a deep cleaning. If I ever had to rent again and lived in Fort Dodge, I would rent from them. They aren't slumlords.

Your better off buying your own home and use the extra cash to fix your maintenance problems. Now that they have responded I will explain why they had horrible maintenance. I will look in my records real fast.
1. Leak in the basement lasting for atleast 5 months after I notified them costing my water bill to sky rocket from leaking.
2. After the "fix" was handled we didn't have water pressure for a month the shower was barely giving my family a sprinkle of water as well as leaving a giant hole in the wall leading to the pipes in the stairs that my toddler could easily get into when I brought it up to him the owner didn't even seem to care to get it fixed.
3. I didn't say anything about the lawn in my review. I am not even sure why that's in your reply unless your trying to be passive aggressive.
4. The overall text messages and conversations just felt like I was being talked down too, it felt rude and I have a high tolerance for it but I just had enough and decided to take my money elsewhere.
5. To top this whole thing off I work nights and they made sure they had the roof changed the last two weeks I was there even though nothing happened with that property for months after we left, and then charge me later for all the pieces of roof they had to clean off the lawn with the security deposit.
6. If a good review has to bash customers then your doing something wrong as a company and You need to fix it.
Buying a home from Re max was the best choice I made very friendly and just a great experience, it took this bad taste right out.

I called thim on a place for rent and thay did not pick up the phones and yes thay ware open

Horrible company. Believes slandering slum lords with poor reputation with no proof vs clean record + clean credit + high income potentional customers.

Highly unprofessional, strongly urge folks to go to a better, more competent realtor. Wasted 4 weeks being fed a line by these people only to be declined on false pretense

Sorry, this may be a long one but I gotta make this clear. I had lived in one of their apartments with my wife for around 5 years. I have never once had a complaint about them. Need maintenance done on anything? Just one quick phone call and you had someone there fixing whatever it is within 24 hours (usually the same day depending on what time of day you call). If you abide by the simple rules that are standard with all places (ie paying rent, not disturbing your neighbors with noise or otherwise, not doing anything illegal in general), your time with them is absolutely exceptional! They would go above and beyond to make sure you were taken care of. If you are a respectful tenant, you get respect back and they will work with you. When we finally decided to move out into a house, there was plenty of notice given on both sides and move out was simple and smooth. I would 100% recommend them to anyone. They will try to milk every penny they can from you and will not notify you when you move out that you owe them anything they will just send a debt collector after you even if you are a good tenant and pay your stuff on time

Good overall value. The apartment didn't have the nicest finishings, but they were decent and in line with what they charged for rent. Management was easy to deal with and quick to respond to any issues.

No one gives accurate information and each employee will have a different answer to any questions you have.
