11First time visiting Iowa from down south. We discovered this dirt track just down the road from where we were staying and decided to visit. Great grassroots atmosphere and and great track. Very fun learning about the local talent. If you are a fan of grassroots racing, don’t pass this up.
Amenities
THIS PLACE SO COOL! Internal pits and a few places to take sweet photos. Not the greatest drive for us, but we enjoyed the view.
PITS $30/person
The internal pits are down right freaking awesome as a photographer/videographer we LOVE the access to the track with little to no interference. Perfect for shots in action. We had a blast and will probably back!
Also - keep your head on a swivel and watch out! There's a lot of blind spots and moving parts.
GRANDSTANDS
Adams County Speedway has a totally unique set up! Multi-level grandstands so everyone can see. Super neat little town and boom racetrack off to the side of town. They are tall grandstands, but I'm not sure if it's a tough view on the back stretch as the internal pits have very large trailers (we were in the pits).
FOOD
Burgers, Chicken steps, cheese balls, sodas, and water (standard grandstand foods). If you have s food allergy you might want to just pack your own snack!
Overall great place to spend an evening, not all ages allowed in the pits (safety), and reasonable prices ($$).
It's always an great place to go n spend time with friends n family. Exciting racing! It's a great place n lots of fun!
Only thing I did not like was there was no were in the pit to be able to see both front stretch and back stretch of the track.
I was upset because My Walker broke and My husband asked security if they could help and got no help from anyone trying to get to car or anything
The track announcer needs to work on when to give the driver lineup. If the cars are in FRONT of the grandstands you can not hear anything. It isn't rocket science
Arrived after the racing had begun yet found plenty of parking available on the perimeter of the grounds. Walked 3 minutes to gate and inside within 10m of arrival.
I am sure there is handicapped parking although I only saw the ramp leading to the upper stands and boxes

I have not been in 23yrs so it was fun, took my my son Jager for his first time at the age of 21 and he enjoyed it. Lost a star for no lock on women's bathroom doors and allowing guest to throw trash over back of bleachers. I was only standing there for a couple of minutes and saw 15 different things thrown on ground.
Races run professionally. Good announcers. Would have gave it a 5 star rating, but the bleachers are horrible.
A great place for family ND friends, reasonable prices. Awesome dirt track, good food, there is smoking stations Nd desanated beer seats in the stands too! Always awesome races u never know whats gonna happen every weekend never a boring.
