ALDI, Urbandale IA

I'm trying to understand why there is such a huge difference in pricing on some items in 3 of the Des Moines stores? (I haven't been in the other one for a while!) I love shopping at Aldi's and have saved thousands of dollars over the years but was shocked when I went in the Urbandale store! I walked back out and went to another store closer to my home! Would be interested to know why?

I really like the store very neat and very good prices. But today, when I went to buy in the morning, the cashier behaved very badly, she made me throw away the things that I was buying as if my presence bothered her.cashier and apart from that he charged me 3 times for an item that was only 1 that he had grabbed.and when I told her she was upset when it was her mistake.the truth is that we feel uncomfortable with the behavior of the cashier.

I went to a different Aldi because they were working on the freezer when I was going to shop but I will go back My regular storeBut I did enjoy that store

Its a good store, Me and my Nana we go there every time i need
something to have when i need food or when im hungry.i like that there is some Worldwide foods like German Snacks
and those German Chips shaped like a French Fry are BOMB.only thing is that there is not a lot of stuff and foods to pick
so some of the stuff on the Shopping list, they dont have it.

I want to love aldi SO much, but I can never find my whole grocery list at Aldi. Their products always change so much too.

I love aldi I just wish we would get I one in Newton it would save a lot of d0riving and we could shop more there

I never thought that ALDI would become my favorite grocery store, and yet here we are, in the year 2019, and I have been humbled by the great ALDI's abundance of organic produce, vegan meats, and packaged nut bags. I now kneel at the throne of ALDI, worshipping its deliciously low prices, kissing the ring of its many flavors. All hail our new lord and master, the great ALDI.

Organic produce is made affordable by Aldi. I see new products at every visit. The store is clean. Aldi staff is helpful, cheerful and efficient.

They have good stuff at good prices. It is different from most grocery stores - which is not good or bad, just different.

When I was a kid, my family would go here every once and awhile. They had a decent selection at cheap prices. There are better options out there (Hy-Vee) but I'd stop by here to give this place a try.

I love Aldi's. I like the way the store is designed, I like the brands that they carry, and most of all, I love the prices. I go out of my way and drive to Urbandale to get to this store. I only wish there was a location closer to where I live.

Slowly moved almost all of my business from Hy Vee to Aldi. Prices are about 30% cheaper at Aldi, and getting through the checkout lines at Aldi is about 50% faster. The food, although generally not name-brand, is usually better than the name brand. Hands down a far better shopping experience. Best of all.no gimmicks or coupon tricks or other unethical sales tactics.just good food at a really good price. Thank you Aldi.

If you want to get the necessities cheaper than Hy-Vee or Fairway then go here. Staff is helpful if you have questions. Can get rather busy at checkout and you need a (refundable) quarter if you want a shopping cart.

This is one of the better aldi I have been to. The shelves are very well stocked and managed. The carts are easy to get in and out as well as move them around. The isles are nice and open as well as clean and kept. Have not seen anything that would cause me to question their products. The store is a clean and pleasant place to shop. The staff is a great group of people. They are very helpful and kind.

The people that work at the store or rude or disrespectful they have no customer service skills whatsoever and if they have any they're all skills that should be replaced just as quick as they replace their employees

I think Aldi's has good food at good prices. You need a quarter to obtain a shopping cart. I have had trouble with that process twice. Probably because of cold weather. Aldi's doesn't have the selection of a Fareway or Hy-Vee. You need to bring a box or bag to put your groceries in.

Very easy shopping experience! Great variety of items some name brand some not. Have not found alot of the off brand items I didnt like.

Good, ever growing, selection, good service, friendly and courteous employees. I shop here exclusively for my everyday groceries. Decent wine selection also.
