The hotel was clean, modern and freshly renovated. My high frustration was that no one seemed to be at the front desk in the morning and it was impossible to get a copy of my bill after the stay. I was on the phone with wyndom for 5 minutes with the problem unresolved and on the phone with hotel direct trying to get someone at the front desk to answer for over 15 minutes. FYI I did book the room direct with the wyndom app. This cost me reimbursement from my company and likely my future business.

Overall a great stay! The hotel has been updated and is nicely decorated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lamps have wireless chargers for your phone and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool is a nice size. I gave it only 4 stars because the breakfast is lacking if you are looking for anything outside of carbs. There was no meat, eggs or fruit aside from red apples. I eat mostly protein and fruit so it was a bit disappointing but certainly not a deal breaker. I travel for work regularly and have been looking for a different hotel since Holiday Inn closed and this will be my new go to.

The AmericInn was a joy to visit. The entire place is immaculately clean. The rooms have no carpeting and have a clean crisp feel. The bathrooms are sparkling clean as well. The front desk associate was very friendly and warm and a real sweetheart! The price was rediculously affordable.

I don't know what parallel universe the negative reviewers inhabit but I enjoyed my stay very much. Front desk manager (owner?) was welcoming and pleasant and always said hello to my two small granddaughters. Other staff also nice. Room was clean, girls loved the pool and the hot tub. Good breakfast- they also loved the pancake-making machine! Nothing fancy but a reasonable price and only 2 miles from downtown. Would definitely stay there again. Please check TripAdvisor as well where they're rated 4.0/5. I'll be posting a review with pictures under the name Athena53 soon.

Owner is SO rude! Will never be staying here again. No one give this man money go stay at the other hotel…. He put us in the wrong room and we asked to be changed and he literally YELLED at us and told us to get out? Such a A*hole.

The stay itself was very nice. My 2 small cubist complaints would be with inattentive staff. On 3 separate times I was looking for a staff member only to find them both, at 2 different times, behind the counter, back turned to me, on their phones. But the motel itself is very nice and clean.

Fair. It was there when I needed it. The service was non-existent but the room was clean and in good shape.

When I booked my rooms 3 weeks in advance I was quoted a price. When I arrived it was $270.00 per night per room. I explained to the woman I wrote the price down but, that paper was at home. She said nothing that she was not the I talked to but, did not offer any solution. The room stunk like over sprayed room freshener. Large black stain on the carpet. The other room smelled of smoke. The bath towels were very small. The pillows and sheets smelled odd. TV was very small for a motel. The breakfast was a joke. The vending machines had no diet pop at all. $1.50 for Aquafina and $2.50 for ice mountain. The pool area had reclining lawn chairs no tables. The upstairs banister spindle was broke and had caution tape wrapped around it. Dangerous for young children. There are batter places to stay in Pella and will not be back to this over priced joke again.

Absolutely terrible! At check in front desk had NO CLUE what she was doing plus said mamy rooms available were not clean. Our bathroom had nasty stuff on the walls. During Breakfast they were out of everything! Absolutely no late checkouts TERRIBLE

It's very dated, but clean. They close breakfast way too early on weekends. 9am is too early for kids swimming or a late Saturday night. Shut the lights off at a few minutes before 9am to discourage entrance after 9am.

Stayed 3 days. Refused more than 2 towels in room, and had to bring wet towels to desk to get more so we could shower next morning.ish.

Probably would choose a different hotel next visit.

Wyndham is always top tier. Always. Unique, lil bar as you enter the main lobby, great amenities. Wyndham, in Pella Iowa. Need i sat more?

Vonn (may have misspelled), the front desk attendant, made our stay one of the best! She was kind, and helpful! Rooms were very clean and comfortable!

Nice room. Nice front desk lady for sure. Breakfast on the other hand. Biscuits so hard you could pave a road with them. I will stay again though.

Clean and friendly. The so called continental breakfast was weak. Not much of a selection. No sausage, scrambled eggs or bacon like many other places serve.
