Best gym in Ames! Love how clean and nice everything is! Reminds me of lifetime fitness back home. 10/10 gym in my opinion!
The equipment they have is good quality, but they lack some very basic pieces: NO calf machine at all. No basic tricep dip bars. No hack machine. No prone leg curl. No prone flye machine. There is a (cardio) rowing machine, so that's nice. Front desk people are nice but the mgr lied to get my friend to join, and then refused me the discounted rate I qualify for. There is a small pool, but lanes have to be reserved in advance. Pool users are supposed to share lanes but don't, and this leads to arguments because the staff won't enforce rules. Adults wearing diapers are allowed in the pool. When I saw that I knew I wasn't going in that water. The best thing about this gym is that it isn't PlanetFitness.
