Dr. Benham truly understands my quirky cats and has offered many way to help each of them with their different issues. From one being too heavy (she isn't fat, she is fluffy) to another cat reaching the end of his journey here on earth, the staff has taken great care of not only our pets, but taken care of us as a family.

We have been bringing our cats to the clinic for years. They treat both the patients and their human parents with kindness and give great care.

This vet is amazing! Right after my kitty passed unexpectedly, they were so caring, thoughtful and understanding. They made the process easier and helping me get through it. They were able to get me his paw print, little patch of fur and whiskers. They even sent me a card signed by the entire staff! They really care about your fur babies here. Highly recommend!

My 1st visit. They were very helpful and knowledgeable with baby bearded dragons. Will most definitely return for help from here if needed. Would trust my pet in their care.

We have taken our pets to Animal Doctors for many years. They always receive great care. We trust all the vets at the clinic with our pets.

Dr. Lloyd and Dr. Sanders are AMAZING and they genuinely care. The doctors even called to check up on my toy Yorkie Poo after I took her in for siezures. This clinic is incredibly caring and thorough! I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

Great experience! Took in our young bearded dragon for general check up. Front desk staff and technician were nice. Vet was very thorough and asked us specific questions about lighting, enclosure and diet. He gave us a lot of information as this is our first reptile. Very happy we made appointment for our pet as we learned a lot from the vet whose has experience in reptiles and schooling versus online forums and groups who mean well but just have misinformation. Would recommend for any reptile owner!

I recently moved to IA from out of state and needed to find a new vet for my two goldens, one of which needed to be neutered. Animal Doctors retrieved all their previous vet records for me, and did an excellent job on the surgery for my pup! When I went to pick him up afterwards, he didn’t even want to leave! Very compassionate, friendly, and informative staff as well as extremely fair pricing! Very happy I found animal doctors!

I have taken all four of my dogs here and can’t imagine going anywhere else for vet care. Dr Benham and the whole team at Animal Doctors are wonderful.

I took my Chameleon to Dr. Benham and had the most wonderful expierence given the unfortunate circumstances. Dr. Benham had wonderful advice, and listened to all of my concerns. I loved the expierence so much I switched all of my animals from a different vet to here.

Wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door! We recently adopted two bunnies and wanted to have them checked out by someone who specializes in small animals. Dr. Benham is clearly very knowledgeable and caring. He anticipated most of the questions we had and thoroughly addressed all of our concerns. We were also able to get on a list for the RHDV2 vaccination! Highly recommend!

My husband and I brought our dog Sweetie to Animal Doctors regarding a lump she had in her armpit.
Unfortunately the diagnosis was undesirable and we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her.
Dr. Benham was extremely kind and passionate to both us and Sweetie. Dr. Benham did not know Sweetie long but he made sure her last moments on Earth were comfortable and peaceful.

I strongly recommend taking your pet to Animal Doctors because they do not treat you or your family as consumers but they actually treat your pet like family. Although we have only had one pet treated by Animal Doctors and Dr. Benham, we will certainly take future pets here.

The only place to take rabbits in my opinion! They are great with my bunnies. Very rabbit savvy and knowledgeable. I’m so thankful since a lot of vets don’t see rabbits.

I had some questions about my sick golden doodle so I called and spoke with Rebecca. She went above and beyond to help me, spoke with me in detail for about 20 minutes telling me exactly what to do and what to expect. She completely put my mind at ease and after following her directions my doodle is perfect now! I can’t tell you how appreciative I was of her help! I will without a doubt be coming to this Clinic for any future visits!

This was my second visit and I plan on scheduling surgery for my cat with them. Everyone was friendly from start to finish. Doctor Judith Lloyd was very thorough in her exam and you could tell she has a genuine love for animals and their health. The office was well organized and very clean. I would highly recommend them for your pets needs.
