My daughter fell Christmas weekend on a little trampoline and lacerated the inside of her lip and hit her top teeth. Her gums on top were instantly purple and bleeding. I called the emergency line and Dr. Chris was very quick at getting back to me. He was personable, polite and very reassuring that if we needed anything else over the holiday weekend to reach back out on his personal cell. Thank you so much for taking time out of your holiday weekend to reassure this mama that her teeth were stable for now and work to get her seen for X-rays after the holiday.

Okay Dr. Julie may be my favorite dentist of all time! My daughters love going to the dentist. My four year old had a small “sugar bug” filled and she didn’t even know it. Every single staff member in that office is nothing but pleasant! Everyone was so accommodating to the girls they schedule appointments together, they have cancellation list to make your schedule work, and most importantly they are so child catering and friendly!

Unfortunately we can no longer continue to support Ankeny Children’s Dental. My family has been using them for years. I went there as a child and have been taking my children there regularly. Unfortunately it seems that with the change in staff and dentist over the years, their standards of care and service have changed. The support staff was very disrespectful and discriminatory towards me and my children. Dr. Chris refused to care for our medical needs and called me a liar regarding our previous appointment, even though he was not there for it or the doctor we saw. It was very disappointing. I would not recommend them to anyone nor can I in good conscience support this business and how they treat people who look or think differently then they do. I am a parent who will always stand up for what’s best for my children, and unfortunately Dr. Chris and his support staff do not agree with parents doing so.

Dr. Chris is wonderful with our kids! Our experience with the entire team has always been top notch. They make going to the dentist fun for our kids.

Dr. Meyer just gave me and my wife the best news of the day. We thought our 10yr old was losing a permanent K9. Infact it is just one of his last baby tooth! WHEW!
