Arby's, Altoona IA

Just bought a kids meals and 2 2/$7 French dip and Swiss and spicy roast beef sandwiches. The kids meal they gave expired milk dated 03/19/2023 and smelled putrid. Then one of the spicy roast beef sandwiches had a slightly curly brunette hair. We called originally about the milk when I had gotten home, and the female manager (wasn't able to catch her name), put our name down. My husband later got home from work and found the hair in his food, we called again and was practically called a liar, and she stated no one had brunette hair, and we explained further it was earlier in the day at 7pm, and my husband didn't get home until 9pm. She said she added that as well, but just terrible service tonight, we just moved to the area and we were not impressed.

That Ribeye Sandwich looks nothing like tv commercial, wayyyyy smaller and good luck if you get more than just 1/2 strip of onion ring. So disappointed

The guy was just sitting there texting the whole time and I get my fries and there all burnt and hard as a rock would not recommended this place to anyone cares too much about phone vs customers oh and the sandwich was so sloppy I should of ordered a sloppy joe…….

They shut there fryers off more then a half hour early and have nothing prepared to sell before they shut it off.there rude. Then they try to charge you for the wrong orders cause they don't pay attention after standing there. Talking to the care infant of people for like 10 mins at a time.

The last 5 times I've been at the drive thru, they have left something out. Have had to return. Time stop visiting. Tried to call, noone would answer.

On Feb 15/2023 around 1030pm I order couple of sandwiches and fries and two ice teas and I said u have any Cherry turnovers the man said yes I said I take two cherry but got apple once I'm not a Big fan of them

This establishment is nasty! The workers themselves PEED all over the bathroom stall, floor & toilet seats! They also left the bathroom withOUT washing their hands. 1 of these persons was the COOK! My family & I won't be back!

Really good Reuben sandwich. Wish they were grilled but still very tasty. Went thru drive thru and managed to get there when no one else was in line so it was speedy.

I was having a sugar attack and not one person asked if i was ok. Train your people better

Pulled in at 625pm on a Sunday but the dining room doors were locked despite 2 groups of people eating inside. Tried to get employees attention and was actively ignored. Tried to call the store to see why their hours said the dining room would be open for another 3.5 hours but the doors were locked and the number that’s listed has been disconnected. While trying to call them I saw 3 different groups of people walk up to the doors and found them locked. Screw this Arby’s

Ugh! The Altoona location, so bad. Don't recommend this location. Our dinner was cold, has some hairs in the French fries and the sandwiches were very dry and cold. I'm so disappointed because I love Arby's, but this location.

The delay on the drive thur speaker is so bad. You talk and then they talk through the echo of your voice. Definitely recommend walking in. Food is always good, even thought I didn't get what I ordered. But that's the chance you take with a drive thur

Food is good and the employees are nice. Found this in my first bite of my buffalo chicken slider. Not sure what it is, looks like it might cardboard but creeped me out so I threw the rest of it away. Tried to clean it off a bit with the napkins to try and figure out what it is.

Friendly service.a bit slow, but the food was good. I'd recommend this Arby's if you're wanting a roast beef sandwich.

Food has been alot better as of late. The chicken nuggets are really good. The apple turn-overs are surprisingly delicious.

Will never go here again! Dirty, inattentive staff, subpar food. First hot sandwich, asked for no lettuce-got lettuce. The chicken was hard and cool, the sandwich, although wrapped in the little foil bag, was not even warm enough to take the chill off the cheese slice. When I took it back up, I stood there waiting while 2 workers stood by tje drive thru soda machine not acknowledging me until I said excuse me. Then they made a new sandwich and microwaved it so then, there wasn't even any noticeable cheese, it all melted and slid off. Tomatoes were almost white and they put onions on it.the sandwich didn't even have onions as a standard. Our curly fries were clearly the bottom of the bag butt pieces. Little fruit like flies all around the condiment station and trash. The dining room had multiple dirty tables, the condiment station was filthy. We were the only people in the dining room, drive thru was consistent but not busy, not a single person was working on the cleanliness but several were pretty busy chatting and one even had a non worker there at the counter the entire time we were there.had to finish her conversation with him before she could even take our order. With paying over $20 for fast food and tossing about 1/3 of it.never going back. Their corporate should send a secret guest to this store around 8pm!

Sat in the drive through for literally (yes literally) 24 minutes waiting for two sandwiches; watched the car ahead of me being handed their straws, napkins and drinks all separately which took approximately fifteen minutes. (STRAWS NO LESS) Sat at the window for another 18 minutes (by this point too lethargic to go anywhere else.trapped) only to receive lukewarm half-wrapped sandwiches. Never again.

Window service has glass covered so you cannot see people.opened briefly have did and shut.no chance to speak.

Stopped into Arby's for a quick lunch. It was quick, up to standard, and experience was pleasant.

I'm not usually around Altoona, but since I was I stopped in to get lunch. The lot and building were clean. Inside the restaurant was clean and signage was clear.
Ordering was a breeze. A nice young lady took my order and was pleasant. I took advantage of a special and skipped the drink, so for a couple sandwiches and curly fries it was just shy of $10. Not bad for Arby's.
I stopped into the bathroom to wash my hands while waiting for my food. Bathrooms were clean, well lit, and stocked.
Food came quickly and the got my simple order correct. I added Arby's sauce to one sandwich. The condiment and drink bar was clean and stocked.

Food was delicious, and per the usual at Arby's. I got two regular roast beef sandwiches and curly fries. All of them were hot and fresh and filled me up well.

I would recommend this restaurant. The crew was friendly, food was hot and delicious, and everything was clean and stocked.

Just can't beat the Roast Beef! I tried the Wagu Beef in Carroll and don't waste your time or money! Arby's knows the roast beef and damn hard to beat!
