Asian Pho Bistro reviews
17Hands down the best Asian food in SE Iowa and beyond! Hailey's smiling face and friendly greeting is just the beginning! You won't be sad you made the trip!
Comfortable and tasty Asian food. Fresh and simple. But they have started making the portions much smaller. Skimping on meat.
We have eaten at the Asian pho bistro serval times and the food is good!
The food takes a bit but everything is made per order which is nice…
We have had several mix ups with instructions on orders and they don’t let you substitute without an charge… example: I wanted to substitute a veggie for the chicken so they took the chicken out and charged me for the vegetable. Most places will happily substitute a vegetable for chicken without a charge.
Aside from those things, the food is good quality.
Fresh, hot, and delicious! The restaurant was full with locals and everything that came out of the kitchen looked fantastic. We’ll be back next time we’re in Fairfield.
Cute little hole in the wall, where the Phó is good and the atmosphere even better. Their traditional flavors are perfect and it's nice to wash everything down with a local brew
Love this place
Best place in Fairfield to eat hands down! Me and my wife have been coming here every week for almost a year and enjoy every bit of it!
The service is absolutely amazing!
Food is always top quality and amazing tasting! We never get tired of it!
10 out of 10 I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food!
What a wonderful new place we have found! So helpful with gluten free choices! Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. Fantastic flavors!
Greeted by what seems to be the owner. Very polite and friendly lady. I had the beef pho and daughter had the phad Thai. We shared some with each other. Absolutely loved both! Very nice flavors and large portions. Dated interior but for the prices and quality of food, well worth lver looking.
The food & service was Great!
5 Stars!
I tried the "Combo pho" and my love tried the "Beef pho"
Also check out the "Thai tea"
Had a great lunch
A big thanks goes out to the staff here at the "Asian Pho Bistro"
See yall again soon!
Pad thai sauce is so fishy i can’t even taste anything else.that is the only flavor.peanuts taste like fish, eggs, everything.would think a place that’s been open this long would have their portions together.trash food that will end up in the trash.never again will i go back there.disgusting. BALANCE your ingredients so the dishes taste good! Waste of money.don’t give them yours just because they have a monopoly.
So hot and fresh and good!
Spicy was plenty hot, I’d probably do medium next time (but I asked for it)
Great vegetarian options! Great local cider selections! Wide variety of food and drinks. The food was all savory. Great prices! Paper straws to save sea turtles. The only thing they should change is the carry out containers so they are more eco friendly, not styrofoam.
The Asian Pho Bistro had a great menu and better service. The beer list included some Iowa breweries and ciders. Another great place to dine in Fairfield. They are open every other Sunday for brunch AND are bottomless! Cheers!
The first time I ate here the appetizers were delicious. The main dishes I and my boyfriend ordered were not good at all. I decided to give it another go and ordered take out to try the Ramen noodles instead. The soup was like water with noodles and meat and veggies. Absolutely no flavor and I ordered medium heat and it wasn't spicy at all. Literally tasted like hot water.
I'm giving 3 stats for service only because they had 1 server for tonight (Feb 14th). It's a small place so more then 3 servers would be over kill but the poor girl tonight was so overwhelmed. She did great for having a almost packed house. The food took an hour to get but was Delicious.the long wait time is due to server shortage and needing more help in the kitchen. Both those things can't be helped in their economy.
I love the Po Kee Mao, sooooo Good. I give it 10 stars in flavor.
Salad roll was good. The temperaure of the Phad Thai was so hot and overcooked it was inedible. Not impressed.
