ATI Physical Therapy, Urbandale IA

I was highly recommend to go see Brooke following a fractured femur in September. She was awesome plus I got to have her intern, Taylor also. That recovery lasted 3 months! Then in January I had a reverse shoulder replacement and without a doubt returned to ATI for 5 months/48 sessions with both Brooke and John. During the pandemic Brooke was placed on furlough but I continued to go wearing a mask, sanitizing hands and working with John.

I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever to recommend going to ATI for any and all forms of physical therapy. They are easy to work with the facility is spotless and both John and Brooke are very professional

Only thing I do not recommend is having two major surgeries in 4 months!

Finished 38 sessions of BFR (blood flow restriction) therapy. Brooke and John were great to work with. They were flexible with the schedule when I needed to make adjustments.

I highly recommend John at ATI Physical Therapy. He is both professional and personable. The facility is clean and John is conscientious about Covid-19 protocols.

I was referred to John and Brooke at ATI Physical Therapy for help with a very painful pinched nerve/degeneration in my neck, along with some existing pain from an arthritic shoulder. John and Brooke were able to help me get control of the pain within a few short weeks. Between the physical therapy, cupping, and dry needling (who knew?), the pain is significantly less than when I first walked in the door. While I realize that I won't be climbing mountains any time soon and some pain is likely to be with me long-term (I'm over a certain age, ya know!), I am glad to know I can have a better quality of life over all, thanks to them!

John and Brooke were awesome to work with. I will definitely go back to ATI for any future physical therapy needs!

Following an injury, the staff outlined a set of exorcizes that were designed specifically to concentrate rebuilding my strength and agility. Each visit was slightly different and the staff works hard to inquire and know about any issues that need addressed. There is no question that my health, stamina, and recovery would never have proceeded near as quickly without the staff at ATI Physical Therapy.

What a great place for physical therapy! Both my internist and pain dr recommended the Urbandale ATI! Brooke is very aware of pain limitations and respect that in the exercises, stretching, massage and the tens machine.

I cannot say enough great things about Brooke and Taylor! They are very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Both were incredibly helpful during the 3 months my daughter needed PT following elbow surgery. They encouraged her when it was difficult and made the exercises fun to keep her motivated. Highly recommend!

Went to ATI for help with long time shoulder impingement issues, over a year and a half. Wish I would have gone to ATI sooner. Dr. John was great to work with, helped me learn how to use the correct muscles (not my traps all the time), and gave me lots of good exercises and information! I improved and am feeling better, and also feel more confident in continuing with using the correct muscles, which has been a huge challenge in the past!

Very pleased with the professionalism of John and Brooke. The facility is clean, airy and welcoming. I was able to develop more core strength with the routines John designed for me and was provided with instructions on how to continue many of the exercises at home. Thanks John and Brooke and ATI.

I’ve been to several physical therapists in Des Moines and ATI is by far the best, hands down. John and Brook have the best technology at their fingertips and the know how to allow for your quickest recovery. Dr. John Brandt is extremely friendly and easy to work with making ATI the premium physical therapy option in Des Moines.

John was professional and very flexible with my schedule. I am feeling good. Didn’t work with Brook allot but she was nice and helpful when needed. Very friendly and caring both. Glad i wen there.

Brooke rocks! When my shoulder developed arthritis, she developed a workout program for me that greatly increased the mobility and alleviated much of the pain. Plus, Brooke is personable and encouraging. I would highly recommend her and John!

I started working with John 3 weeks ago after knee replacement surgery. The progress that we have made has been outstanding. I continue to improve with each session. John is patient and listens to any concerns that I have and I would strongly recommend John for your therapy needs. I don't know what I would of done without his guidance. Thank you John!
