We stayed here before our flight. The front desk staff were all friendly and willing to help, the room was very clean, beds comfortable. Got coffee at 345 In the morning hot and fresh. Parking lot was plowed (we stayed right after the snowstorm) great place, definitely recommend and definitely will stay again.

Very clean. Rooms are well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Accommodated our late arrival and an extra guest. Shuttle service to the airport was on time and the gentleman driving was a good driver on the icy roads, and friendly. Staying at the Avid was an excellent experience from start to finish

Rooms are new and clean! Service was above average and the location to the airport is excellent!

If you are going to choose from the hotels in this immediate area, this is absolutely the one to pick. We came in the early morning hours after a snowstorm made us detour our trip home, and the front end staff got us a room of our preference (single king) right away. Prices were accurately reflected online to what we paid.

Rooms are small but very efficiently laid out. Two adults and a baby with our luggage did not feel cramped at all. Lots of regular outlets and USB outlets. Everything clean, and the bed was comfier than our own at home!

Breakfast had simple choices but still satisfying. The coffee and hot water options were available 24/7 as well. My husband was feeling under the weather, and felt refreshed with hot tea all day long. There was some minor ambient mechanical sounds at night, but no loud noises, which passed the baby check for our 7.5 month old.

We were exceedingly impressed. Despite being simple on the surface, this is perhaps the most comfortable and pleasant hotel we have ever stayed in. We did not want to leave! Thank you to Murad, and all of the other staff and management for curating such a welcoming environment.

I get the best sound sleep here! They have blackout curtains that keeps the room dark even during the brightest day!

It's close to CID Airport, and there are no lots of food options within walking distance. Just Macdonald and a Subway.

This is the 1st time ever staying here and it is really nice! This hotel is on a very high level as the others! This should be the way all hotels are designed and maintained. Atmosphere is great, design and overall smell was really fresh. Staff is very positive and friendly! All the fine details from the floor, to the walls, to the elevator is very impressive and clean and sharp! I will recommend everyone come here just to experience the amazing place! I will be back! All hotels owners and managers should see this place and take notes! All hotels should be on this level of expectations!

My daughter was married down the road at Midnight Gem & we booked a block of rooms at this hotel sight unseen. To say we were amazed is an understatement! So so clean. From the parking lot to the hallways to the rooms to the breakfast area, clean. The beds were comfy.
The staff was welcoming, friendly & accommodating. We have stayed in many hotels and this hotel far exceeds the standard. Thank you Avid! We really enjoyed our stay!

It was definitely a cute little hotel with BIG accommodations. If you're in Iowa, definitely check this place out.

Great location by the airport. Very clean, great amenities, shuttle to airport, and food & gas next door.

Breakfast was great. Only downfall was we were guaranteed a shuttle to and from our wedding reception and it was full on the way there and they stopped at 11pm so it left us stranded at midnight. Not fun. Thankfully the hotel shuttle came and got us after we called.

No no not "art deco. " This is absolute bauhaus. Get it while you can. New and pristine. Practically perfect in every way. But.bring ear plugs. R

I wish the shuttle ran early morning times and late times to accommodate flight schedule.
Continental breakfast and coffee are complimentary.
You can get coffee at any time of the day or night. And water as well.

I wish they did shuttle and breakfast earlier for those really early flights. Otherwise it was very nice. Very clean and well maintained.

Right next to cedar rapids airport. Convenient, clean, staff are very welcoming and friendly. Coffee is OK and the breakfast was the usual pre packaged stuff with some hot food. Fruit was available.

Easy to find, easy to check in, clean and actually have Jimmy Dean Sausage biscuits and lots of fruit for the free breakfast.

Very nice and clean room. Staff went above and beyond for help. There is $50 surcharge that will be returned when you check in. Breakfast was awesome.
