10/10 Sam is the best, Helped me get a Business account set up, Always has Great energy and Great Customer service!

We rented a 12 passenger van from Avis to take our car club (Modern Custom Dreamz) out to look at Christmas lights. We looked at multiple rental agencies before selecting Avis, they had the best prices and customer service in Ankeny. The process was super easy, the owner (Sam) walked us through everything and there were no hidden fees. We had the best night ever and so much of that was thanks to the ease of renting this van for our crew to fit. If you’re looking at rental vehicles please stop in and talk to Sam at Avis, you won’t be disappointed!

Wow! Talk about service! Avis Ankeny is the best, so much so that I travel 30 minutes away to use them, when there are other car rental agencies closer.

Having rented several cars from them over the last few months, i have had nothing but an awesome experience. I have recommend Avis in Ankeny to several friends and coworkers, as I know they will not only get what they need but have the best experience possible.

I will keep going back!

Awful place to rent a car. I work and live locally, needed to pick up my pre paid rental on work hours bc my car as getting tires put on- and basically had my time wasted and my money taken. He asked for a business card and a utility bill- (my license and credit card wasn’t enough). He literally made me feel like I was a second rate citizen.

I have rented many times at the San Jose Avis- absolutely zero issues. Not quite sure what this man who runs the Ankeny Avis deal is- but he doesn’t remember any repeat customers or care, he just takes peoples money.

I needed a larger vehicle for an out of state sporting event while my vehicle was in the shop. They were able to find me a great vehicle that met my needs. Extremely friendly and helpful also! Thank you!

Sam is the best! Easy rental process and the car was clean and nicer than O thought a rental would be.

Both my mom and I used Avis and Budget to rent a car for our vacation driving from Iowa to Florida and back. The cars were very nice and had a lot of amenities. Sam was amazing working with us and knew what we wanted and provided! Definitely coming back next year for our vacation again.

Easy booking process online. When I went to pick up the rental, a gentleman named Sam helped me. He was very polite, very quick and explained everything throughly. I was also dealing with issues on the phone with where I board my dogs while on vacation and Sam went above and beyond and reached out to the business owner where he boards his dogs and got me right in. Thanks to Sam I now have a great new place that I will go to for rentals when needed and a great new place place to board my dogs when needed!

Perfect service! Was called the morning of my trip by another car rental company I had a reservation with to let me know they wouldn't have a vehicle for me. Avis/Budget came through with the win with a last minute reservation. In, out and on the road in just a few minutes. I will be going to them from now on! 10/10 recommend

Absolutely terrible customer service. The Manger that works at this location made up rules as he went and yelled at me and my wife. I asked him to show me on their website where a rule he made up was located and he told me to look it up he didn’t have time for my questions. Not the first time my family has had a terrible experience here. Good customer service goes a long way.

I travel a lot and the staff at the Ankeny, IA AVIS is the best! Always friendly, helpful and willing to go overboard to make sure I'm taken care of. Cars are New and Very Clean. Truly Appreciate you Sam!
