B-Bop's, Ames IA

B•Bops is the highest rated burger & fries fast food restaurant in the Des Moines region. They are the perennial winner of the best and most popular people's choice surveys each year.

The staff seemed more interested in messing around with each other than taking care of customers. I had two people take my order and randomly switch off and instead of charging me for the meal they charged me extra by adding the items individually and only offering a small drink cup. Very misleading as I was charged more than the listed price on the sign and will not be coming back. Ruined my whole experience.

This time I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with jalapeños it was so good. Will be in Ames next week I will stop get another one.

First time ever 4 me at a B~Bop's. Absolutely love the fry's. The hamburger was delicious as well. No photo to share. Sorry

Went there today and my burger was so salty i couldn’t eat it… first time i’ve had an experience where the food was inedible.:/

It's a good location, the food is normally sloppy and they don't like criticism.

Burgers and chicken sandwiches were marginal. Fries and chocolate shake were ok.
Use of styrofoam food containers and plastic cups were disappointing - it's like businesses aren't even trying to be responsible.

4/6 (4: 29pm) date of service and didn’t hear from anyone until 4/20 after I called corporate. Because Graham and the others listed in next sentence didn’t pass on my complaint on the 6th of April as I asked him too.
Eli, Levi, Graham, John and now Nathan (aka area manage so called)
They’d all would miss up a wet dream. Them as employees to me reflect on the owner. I’m going to say he not worth it either. Because of the above names employees.
Never see my business again!
25 -30 other places to get a hamburger in Ames. And get better service from top to bottom.
Just say Nathan was told how I felt of him laughing at me before I hung up. I called corporate again and told them about Nathan.
I’m not scared to let the top know how his co called employees n area manager treat customers!

Food is always fresh and consistent each time. The drive thru seems much quicker of an operation than the in-store experience. Best hours for fast food in the neighborhood.

This is the lesser of the two bbops in town. No one will ever remember to put cheese on your chicken when you ask for it. Sometimes they'll repeat it back to me confirming I want cheese and it'll still come without, other times while I'm saying I want cheese they might just not hear me because they are yelling "chicken! " To the cooks while I'm mid sentence. Not great.

Whooever attended order, didn't give a chance to let my friend add to the order as wanted 2 sloppy Joe sliders
We get to the window to pay and my friend hands $20.00 cash and then adds his 2 sliders
And they were going to hand us 1 med. Chocolate shake& 1 large
I stated no we ordered 2 large chocolate shakes,
And so we paid 2 times for the sliders.
Plus the 1 guy can't hear well and we had to yell constantly as he was not listening.
We can't wait till the other BBops gets done remodeling, as we had better customer service and certainly would not charge 2 times for 2 slidders.

I ask for no ketchup specifically everytime I go and everything I order has ketchup on it. Eventually I think to chance returning and it happens again. I won’t be back to this location.

Forgot food.

Tryied calling no answer. Drove to get chicken nuggets they forgot. They where getting ready to close and gave me cold nuggets.

Says online closes at ten! But the lights shut off as I was getting in my car at 8.59
I tryied to call cause I wasn't satisfied no answer that evening or at 11 1 and 3 the next day.
Probably won't be spending our money here anymore.

We went to drive thru. Told them no mayo no tomato. He said back no mustard no tomato. I said no, I didn't say mustard. He didn't answer back. Sat there a few minutes no response. Got to the window and asked if no mayo. They said no, they would fix it. They gave back a burger with double mayo. This was rude, unprofessional and uncalled for. What if it would cause a medical reaction? If you can't do customer service then don't work it.

Who can be disappointed with B-Bops! There is definitely a reason they always win best of Story county for burger…but also try their chili, breaded chicken sandwich, and WOW those fries are THE BEST!

The best fast food for hamburgers in Ames, Iowa. Great staff and affordable prices.
We highly recommend.

First time eating here. The pork fritter was excellent. My roommate had the bacon cheeseburger! She said it was awesome. The drive up line was long, but seemed to move quickly!

Was not the best b bops I've been too. Food was ok staff was ok nothing stood out positive or negative was just ok
