Babe's Steakhouses reviews
17You get a potato of choice and salad bar with every meal. I had baked Icelandic Cod with mashed potatoes and garlic toast. It tasted so wonderful!
I like to go on Thursday evening. I really like the Pasta that night. Lots of leftovers. But this is the only place I can get rare Prime Rib. Hard decision to make!
If could I would pick Prime Rib to recommend.
Sent on Friday. Babes was slammed. We should have went there on Thursday or earlier on Friday. All in all we were happy.
This place was recently voted the Best Steakhouse in Iowa, and it's clear why. Their steaks are expertly prepared and flavorful. Salad bar is always fresh, and service is on point. The drive to Radcliffe is always worth it. The 12 oz. Ribeye I had tonight was probably the best Ribeye I've ever had anywhere, it literally melted in my mouth, and was very tender and seasoned perfectly.
Price is good and food was great. I'll be a return customer even though it's a little off my beaten path.
Last night had the perfect prime rib. Cooked perfect and flavor galore. Adequate salad bar and large baked potatoe. Texas toast also. Can't say enough how last nights prime rib was one of the best I have had for long time. Good prices also for food and drinks. Wife's cod baked fish was huge also.
Seating is not great! But the food makes it all worth it. Have been here for pasta night great service and been here for steaks really good.
Wow! What a wonderful place to enjoy a steak!
The salad bar was pretty tasty!
I also ordered the bacon wrapped filet and the flavor was amazing
Loaded baked potato for a side was to die for! Everything was great here!
Also I had the pleasure of meeting the owners Dad! SUPER NICE GUY!
Great people in a great atmosphere I felt like I was right at home here, Thank YOU
Service and atmosphere were great. Food was iffy. Well done steak was rare. Sides were Luke warm.
I ordered a 12 oz Ribeye. What I got was No Ribeye, It was the toughest piece of meat I’ve ever had. I was with a group, but I didn’t complain. That was my fault.
Great food, great service. Ribeye steak was very tasty. If you don't mind a little drive for a great meal. This place is worth the drive.
What terrible service. Half our party got food while the other half waited over 30 minutes to get theirs.
Emma while nice doesn't exclude a huge screw up with service. Won't be back.
Small Town eatery meets miniscule menu. I ordered ribeye, got the prime rib. No worries, it was cooked to the right temp. A little salty, but otherwise pretty good. A relatively nice salad bar with all of the basics, and the only sides are a variety of potatoes - hashed, mashed, baked, or French fried. There was a heckuva crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. After ordering it was about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Thank God for the salad bar! I'm sure I'll be back, but there can be some updates for the future.
Had the prime rib, was cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. 5 star rating.
Had a great experience Saturday. Cold beer! Service was good. Steaks and prime rib were perfectly cooked and delicious. Thank you!
Cheese balls were burnt to a crisp. Burger was burnt to a crisp. Waffles fries were cold right when the food was brought out. Waitress was horrible. Spent about 1 minute total at our table the whole time. Ignored us when we needed drink refills. I would give this place a negative star review if I could. Don't waste your money.
Food was over cooked and cold, service was really slow, but I’ve come to expect both of these things. What killed it was that we were probably the third group there (10 or so minutes after they opened), yet still had to wait 50 mins for food, then another 20 or so to pay. “I knew we should’ve just went to subway. ”
