Baraboo's on Main, Dubuque IA

Been here twice, once for lunch and another time for dinner. Great customer service both times. They have great food and a good selection on drinks. Great addition to the restaurants/bars in Dubuque!

Moved to Dubuque a few months ago and this has been my primary suggestion for friends/family to meet. I worked as a bartender for a few years before and noticed right away that their staff had a great balance of making you feel at home while also being extremely quick/attentive. I think I met the owner during football season and he seemed like a great guy too. I don’t know anyone that works there personally/ don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this place stood out enough for me to leave one I guess! Solid spot!

Everything I’ve had here has been tasty, fresh, and satisfying. Not so big of a place that it gets super loud when it’s full of people. Friendly staff, reasonably priced.

I visited Baraboo's for the first time this week expecting it to be a run of the mill place to eat. The Deep River BLT was amazing. It was delicious and may be the tastiest sandwich I've ever had. I will definitely be back.

This place will steal from you. They print out two different receipts, one was the standard breakdown with tip and total of $23 The second was just a total, but that total was $6 higher than the the first WITHOUT A BREAKDOWN. Just a total of $29. The math didn't math. I left a $5 tip on the first receipt totalling $28. I sat back to see what they would charge me. When the charge came through at $29. I knew they were playing the "overcharge they'll never notice" game. I've seen it maaaany times before and proceeded to call the owner out, of course he played dumb. I asked for my $6 difference back and he gave me $8 back. They are taking advantage of the heavy drinkers but im not a drinker and i walked out sober. $2 isn't hush money, so here I am. Watch your 6 and stay frosty.

Ps. There were two receipts with the higher amount hidden behind my actual bill. The "thank you" was civility. Would you rather I make a scene due to you being a thief and liar? You tried to pull a common scam and got caught. Play it off all you want, but the people should know to watch their tabs at your establishment. I don't expect you to admit anything, nor am I debating. You switching gears and playing a victim speaks volumes.

I came in with my 1 year old, and the owner immediately brought out a little snack platter for him (for free). The staff treated us like family the entire time, and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back. Loved it!

I should not be partial because my son works here. The fact that the employees hang out here too says a lot.
Chad (the proprietor) was a pleasant and personable meet. The drinks were aptly priced for an upscale establishment.
I would visit as time and money allows.
Definitely a neighborhood pub with an upscale flair.

Just ate at Baraboo’s for the first time and it was absolutely phenomenal. I am beyond impressed—not that I would expect anything less from the amazing owner! Will be back again for sure!

Food was excellent! Buffalo chicken nachos were amazing. Burger was one of the best I have had.
Service was outstanding - waitress & cooks were both very helpful & accommodating to a large group. Highly recommend!

Nice local bar with excellent food. We had delicious smoky grilled burgers, standard and goat cheese variations, fries were extra crispy and good. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was was awesome! My wife's friend told us about this place so we decided to check it out! They did not disappoint. We got the Bleu cheese burger, goat cheese burger amd fried pickles. We will be coming back here.

We went on Dubuque Iowa last weekend and we spent a nice Saturday evening in this place. My husband loves burgers so this is perfect place for him. I like nice drinks ;) both are in Baraboo's on Main. Very friendly people working there.

The excellent, friendly service and unique food pairings makes me want to return to try one of everything on the menu!

Baraboo's on Main is an absolute gem in the Midwest, and their Reuben sandwich is second to none! The combination of perfectly tender corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese nestled between slices of rye bread is pure perfection. It's a must-try for any sandwich lover. This place deserves all the praise for serving the best Reuben sandwich in the Midwest!

We stopped there twice already with a group of people food was great service top notch. We are from Wisoconsin love dubuque would recommend this place to anyone for a casual stop. Big cuts fans which being a brewer fan had some fun with. Look forward to next visit.

My husband and I have stopped many times for a cocktail and enjoyed talking with the staff. We felt very welcomed. Recently we picked up dinner and it was great. Looking forward to returning with friends. Love the fries and the aju on the side was great.

Cheese curd game is strong, but that goat cheese bacon burger is off the chart. Juicy burger with that goat cheese melting in your mouth!

This place is awesome! We absolutely loved it. The owner is awesome, service is obviously fantastic, the food is great! We highly recommend!

We were in Dubuque from out of town and stumbled on this amazing restaurant. The staff greeted us immediately upon walking in and kept up with the amazing service the whole time we were there. The food came out quickly and was delicious! I would highly recommend making a drive to check this place out!
