All the food is out of this world good! Would definitely recommend this place! Although the goat was a little bony

My fiancé and I just had dinner at Bawarchi. The food was amazing, and the service was awesome. This was our first time at the restaurant and I think he could tell that we were struggling with what to pick, he talked us through the menu until we decided on something. I’m a wimp and ordered my butter chicken a medium, but it was still pretty spicy for me. Our server offered to remake it free of cost (which of course I didn’t do, because the food was amazing just a little spicy lol). He was extremely nice and very accommodating, he even offered us yogurt to make the meal less spicy. We never write reviews but just felt like we needed to do it. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that’s considering it!

I went here for dinner with one of my friends and it was great! The biryani was fantastic and so was the naan. The service was excellent and a very good price. There are a lot of options in the menu, which I appreciate greatly. All things considered, I now need to bring my Special Ladyfriend here. Fantastic! I will be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone that likes Indian food!

I ordered takeout from here for the first time, and everything was delicious! My order was ready right away, and still hot when I got it home. The only downside was not being able to specify what level of spice I wanted through the online ordering platform — everything was perfect to my tastes; but a few family members prefer things more mild. Overall, delicious. I’ll eat here/order from here again!

Since I am from Bombay, went to have a dinner with my in laws. The food was horrible. It was cold briyani, like it was from yesterday. Goat curry the meat was so hard to chew.i will NEVER EVER go back. Total waste of money. Not worth it.

Great food, great service, perfect location to dine in. Food is amazing. This is my favorite place in town to try the authentic indian food.

First time eating here. Food was excellent. We had the lunch buffet. Great selection of dishes to try and one dessert. They serve purified water at table. Nice touch. The butter chicken was excellent and there was a goat stew that was so tender and so flavorful. Everything was seasoned perfectly. For dessert there was a delicious cashew pudding with Indian spices (fennel seed and other fragrant spices). I recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

Pretty good buffet. The daal was the best I've had. Tandoori chicken is also fantastic.

The biryani chicken was smoky and delicious. The shahi paneer wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still good (no chunks of golden raisins and cashews like some of my favorite places have- I like more textures in my food but that is a personal preference). The naan and kulcha were good, as was the rasmalai. I would love to visit in person because the customer service upon pickup was excellent.

Food was very mediocre. Tried the goat and chicken biryani, lamb korma, bawarchi chicken curry - the biryani was a little disappointing. The lamb korma was delicious. The best part was the appetizers: chicken 65, chili chicken, and pepper chicken. All were good.
Not as good as other Indian restaurant in town. You get more quantity and flavor for roughly the same price.

I have been coming here for 10 years now. Previously it was Paradise Biryani Point.
I'm so glad they brought back the lunch buffets after COVID subsided.
I wish they would put Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala on the buffet every Thursday and Friday!
Around June 2023 they changed all their spice levels on the buffet to mild and they only have a couple of non-dairy dishes.
Excellent Indian food. Best lunch buffet in Des Moines by far, we've tried them all. Their garlic naan is a must.

Don’t even get me started. I love this place! I love everything I’ve tried here. I went here with some friends, then took my husband and son here.

At first, my husband was hesitant, because he is that way with trying a new restaurant. However, he and my son also loved the food- their eyes were sparkling as the enjoyed every bite. We have since returned, with the same great experience.

Arrived at 1448pm on Wednesday 09/13/23 this guy was very rude told us they’re closed even one sardar Ji offered us he would cook for us. He turned him down and he wouldn’t let him. After 3 hours of drive this guy is very rude he is around 40s he needs to coach. I would never come back to this place again if I could I would give this place -500000 reviews for negative.

Manager is very nice and great cutomer service. Food is good and better than any other Indian restaurant in Des Moines.

It was probably the most delicious dishes of Indian food I've had, and it was buffet style!

No cap, good service and really good food. I live in Omaha and it's better than almost anything in Nebraska. Everytime I come to Des Moines I will pass by here without a question!

On 9/13/23 Went in by 14: 48pm for food this guy he is maybe like 40years old very rude told us place has been closed systems is closed, even One guy Sardar ji offered he would cook for us but this guy didn’t let him. I would give this place -10,000 reviews. I would never come back again this restaurant we drove from 3 hours away to here.
