Bear cubs daycare reviews
3My experience with Amy Kindig was terrible. She had a ton of beer bottles laying around that she forgot to pick up when she was giving me a tour of her house. It gave me the impression she was an alcoholic. She is not certified in CPR or mandatory reporting. She refuses to give receipts when you give her payment in cash. Which is not unreasonable, you get a receipt everywhere you go as proof of payment so I thought that was sketchy. She has an "open door policy" where you can pop in at anytime BUT she wants to be informed you are coming before you are on the way. My child's face was dirty when I picked her up and she had a terrible diaper rash and she was only there for 3 hours. I am paying for my daughter to receive excellent care so I expect just that. When I was terminating care Amy became very unprofessional and threatened to put my child's belongings outside if I was unable to meet her to pick them up at the exact time she gave. She should remain professional at all times. She does not prorate if your child starts in the middle or at the end of the week. You are required to pay for the full week. I have never heard of anything like that before nor did she disclose that when we communicated about payment. She is very disorganized and it felt like a free for all. I also didn't like the fact that people I did not know or was unaware of were coming to her house during daycare hours. Her contract is also disorganized and should be looked over with a lawyer it states "a two-week notice is required. If no two-week notice is given, you will still be required to pay the final 2 weeks, even if your child is not in my care. " I gave a two weeks notice so I asked for my money back she attempted to scam me out of my money but then ended up paying me but it was a struggle.
My daughter loves going here. She has made great friends tons of crafts and outdoor time very nice neighborhood!
Miss Amy is the best! She sends end of the day reports for my little one so I know exactly how her day went. She does so many cute and fun crafts that keep my little busy. She sends out the menu before the week so I know what they’re having. She even sends pictures/videos during the day so I don’t miss my little too much! Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a more personal in-home childcare experience!
