Easy to find what you need and we were surprised to find how well stocked this tiny grocery store was.

My husband & I enjoy shopping at Benders when we are in Bellevue. Your prices are reasonable. We'll be back.

The cashiers are always friendly to me and the selection is great and the building is very well kept. I sometimes get one of the good bakery deals on stuff that expires soon. I came up a little but short one time and the cashier pitched in and that made me feel like the staff really cares about their customers.

They do have good sales, but they could update the looks of their store. It's really looking rundown and dated, which gives it a dirty grungy appearance.

Bender's provides a variety of necessary items for cooking or food preparation while also selling household or school items like ziploc bags, pens, scissors, etc. They also serve deli meats and pretty good fried chicken.

Glad that small town Bellevue has a grocery store. Susie in the bakery does a FANTASTIC job! Yum!

Convient, friendly and clean. A little pricey but you'll get that in a small town with one grocery store.

It is always cold in there and the deli Is not that good except the chicken but other than that its good for fast runs

Benders employees are always very helpful, and you can basically find most of what you might need. There is a dollar section and a small deli area, also. Prices range from very inexpensive to some higher end items.

I was recently at a Cook in my Kitchen session with Wellness by Paulette. All of her produce was purchased at Bender's in Bellevue Iowa and it was wonderful! The Napa cabbage was especially noteworthy. I have never seen such nice cabbage. I often shy away from it because it usually looks bad where I live. But this cabbage was perfect, without any brown or wilted edges. I commend the produce department at Bender's because everything was great, and in late October in Iowa that is sometimes difficult.

Nice staff. VERY BAD MEAT SECTION. It smells very bad, meat is gray and moldy. Little selection. Lots of food past or on expiration date.

Love Bellevue's only grocery store! You can always find what you need here, and lots of what you want! They make the best cakes here! Used to get a filled cake for dance team get togethers! Boston cream cakes are to die for! The frosting is wonderful, whipped cream, just the right sweetness, Yum! Like I could never duplicate, lolo.

Good selection for a small business. Prices are reasonable. They can also be better than big chain stores on select items. Especially watch for specials.

It's nice to have a grocery store in town, but would love for an updated and more reasonable priced store. Very happy with the recent changes to bring in more healthy options, that has been a great improvement.

Some prices were great, others were ridiculous, but that's to be expected from a small town grocery store.

Excellent customer service! I appreciate that if there is a product that is not stocked, the staff is able to get it on the shelf quickly for me. It is a luxury to have a great food store in a small town like Bellevue!
