Stopped because we had a flat tire while traveling. Dan was professional, considerate and understanding. Told us what we needed, made a useful suggestion and got us on the road again quickly. If I lived closer, I’d definitely return!

Taylor and her crew are Very professional and nice. They are super helpful with any questions. The facility is clean as well.

This was an awesome experience. I had my car towed here when it wouldn’t start, and they were able to get me in within an hour. My car was fixed the next day (it was like 3 pm when I dropped it off originally). They quoted me $800, and when I picked up my car Taylor told me I ended up saving about $200 because they forgot to add in the labor cost when they quoted me — but since they quoted me $800 they only charged me $800. What impeccable customer service and honesty.

The next day my car wouldn’t start again, so I called them and asked what the options were. They said they’d reimburse me for the tow back to the shop. I had it towed there and they found a loose connection and had it fixed within a few hours and reimbursed me for the tow. I worked primarily with Taylor (female) and Taylor (male), and they were both incredibly nice and helpful and answered all of my questions. 10/10 recommend

A+ customer service. Needed a tire fixed before a trip and other shops couldn’t get me in or didn’t want to work on it because it was an inside dual. Big O had my truck in their bay within a half hour of when I called and their price couldn’t be beat.

Our Toyota Sienna blew a Left Rear tire in Ankeny on Saturday and we had only enough time to get the car to Big O Tires, the nearest tire repair shop. This van does not have a spare tire so we were out of luck. Taylor at Big O Tires called half the tire stores in Des Moines and I called the other half, no one had a tire at 3: 00 on a Saturday. We got a lift home and I ordered the tires on Amazon and had them sent to Big O. They arrived on Tuesday morning and Taylor called me a short time later to tell me it was ready to pick up. They pulled the van inside every night to keep it safe, put on the new tires and told ME thank you! No Charge for any of it. I'd recommend that store to anyone within 50 miles of Ankeny for service.

I loved how Taylor was so helpful, and did everything thing she could to help me in my situation! I was so thankful for her I cried so much! Didn't even really know me, and helped me get a new rim for me. I had hit a piece of concrete on I 80 around construction area during rush hour traffic and bent my rim. She even worked from home to do all she could for me and my family! I gave her the biggest hug I could to thank her! Even than it didn't feel like enough to thank her for what she did for me! All I have to say is Big O Tires has a customer for life now!

We spent $1200.00 for new tires there and they have been leaky and sub par since we bought them. We had someone else look at them and it was because they did not replace the rubber stems as it is their policy to do. You might want to check to see if they did that when you buy your tires there.

I used to use this place when I worked for the local UBreakIFix, and they did great work for the company vans, you can find my previous review on this location. I have been out of state for the past 2-ish years and had an opportunity to move back and needed some work done on my vehicle. I can attest they have not lost their touch in that time. Quick work, done faster then expected, and got me back on the road rather cheaply!

After driving home last night, I unexpectedly got a flat tire. I was able to get my vehicle to Big O Tires shortly after 6pm when they close in the hopes of just leaving it there overnight and contacting them the next morning. To my surprise, Taylor (female Taylor!) who was still there, immediately began assisting my boyfriend and I despite the fact she was already closed for the day! She was so kind and patient with me. She let us in to the lobby so I could explain my situation and then came right out with us to check my vehicle. Every step of the way she was so accommodating and helpful. The next morning she called me right away to explain my options to replace my tires and answered all my questions. I was able to pick up my vehicle right after work. The whole experience was so much more than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much to Taylor and the entire staff! I would highly recommend them!

I’ve gone to big o’s in ankeny for the past five years. I feel like I can trust them and they always get the job done right. Another great thing about them is you can get your car in same week sometimes same day unlike the dealerships that you might have to wait a month!

The staff was able to fit me into their full schedule to fix my flat tire on a Saturday! Every time I come here everyone is friendly and very helpful!

Awesome experience with all the staff here at the Ankeny location. The tires I ordered were there next day, the only delay installing them was my own availability timeline. Taylor was extremely helpful in her recommendations. Extremely professional but friendly and approachable. Would recommend this location for anyone.

I had a fabulous experience. Taylor was very helpful and pleasant over the phone, and my conversation with her was a large factor in why we choose to get our new tires from Big O. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the store gave positive vibes and you could tell that it is a fun and pleasant to work - which makes it even more pleasant for patrons.

We needed some help with getting a tire changed and repaired so we stopped in at the Ankeny store. The young lady that is the manager there was supper helpful and gave us a great deal. Service was pretty fast and the service tech was very pleasant. Thanks to the store.

We had a great experience. We were instantly greeted as we walked through the door. Taylor was very welcoming and made us feel like we were a VIP customer. From what we could see the shop looked very clean and organized and the staff was actively working. The main lobby was immaculate. The staff just seemed like they liked working at the store very happy and upbeat. We will definitely be back to this location. Thank you for the great experience!
