Brookside Veterinary Hospital, Cedar Falls IA

I have been taking my dogs to Brookside for many years. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The ladies at the counter treat me as an old friend and my dog as family. They will do anything to work a sick pet in as soon as possible. Dr. Bell is a caring, gentle, and knowledgeable vet who cares for my Molly so carefully and explains thoroughly what I need to know. I wouldn't go anywhere else. A+ in my book.

I picked up dog food that my vet wasn't able to get. I'm very thankful that even I don't use their service's I was able to purchase for my puppys. Very grateful for their help, I had tried at my previous vet and they refused. Love these guys!

We use their boarding service occasionally (our primary vet doesn't provide boarding services) when we can't find a pet sitter, and our dogs have always been well taken care of here. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommend of you need a place to board your pup.

Staff and the doctor are all very welcoming. Took my 23 yo cat there who has chronic kidney disease, had couple other hospitals say I needed to check her in costing almost $4000. Or put her to sleep. Brookside gave her subcutaneous fluids and have had me give them to her every other day, she's doing great. They never asked large sums or suggest putting her down. They care and it shows.

We love Brookside and Dr. Bell.never met a kinder human to animals (and to the people who love them).

Quality of pet care is satisfactory, the staff is friendly, even friendlier to pets, which I respect- they're clients too.
I'd trust to leave overnight. I've seen some vet places I might not be secure in doing that with.

Reasonably priced, considering. A bit higher actually, but I suppose that comes with quality.

ALSO- they are helpful with appointments and possibly sliding you in for emergencies.
I've made same day dates, which, as you know, is hard to do, humans and pets.

Dr. Petersen helped my dog in off hours when he had no obligation to. When sharing my story I have found this is no rare occurrence in two days between work colleagues and family. Extremely grateful and will send as much business as I can.

Not sure how you can call yourself an emergency pet hospital if you won't take animals that you haven't seen before.

My cat has had a tough run, and she has seen all the vets here. They are so amazing! I always leave feeling like my questions have been answered. The vets and vet techs are so gentle with my cat, and I can’t thank them enough. With their help, I’ve been able to navigate the difficulty of caring for my cat’s chronic infection. She has mainly seen Dr. Pederson, and he has been a major help. Dr. Bell and Dr. Jorgensen have treated her just as well. Leslie is especially amazing with my cat, able to calm her down when she is nervous. They are pretty solid team and I can’t imagine taking my pets anywhere else.

We recently took a 6 day trip and needed to board our dog at Brookside. We were concerned about her since she is at least 15 years old. Everyone at Brookside was very kind to us and our dog, and they took very good care of her.

First time at this vet clinic. Staff was very friendly. Dr. Bell is is awesome with both of our dogs. We will continue to come back for our pet care needs.

The vets here, as well as all the staff, are so kind and caring as well as experienced and knowledgeable. We’ve been taking our dogs here since 1989 with Golden Retrievers formerly and now Shih Tzus. Brookside has great facilities for boarding and grooming, as well.

Everybody is always very friendly. They keep on schedule so there is very little waiting. And they love Cruiser and that is a must for anyone who is taking care of her! Highly recommend!

They do a great job with our 105 lb sheepadoodle. He actually likes to go there. I love how Eddie grooms him, never any problems.
