I had a cord ripping out of my tire 9n the interstate going through Ames and was low on funds. The owner handled the business part with me himself and was very welcoming and friendly. Found me a used tire for about $80 bucks and his technician was thorough and made sure to torque the lugnuts. Ill definitely use their service again. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful people. We had a cracked rim and they helped us with 2 used rims and tires making it possible for us to get home to Minnesota safely. They were a true blessing.

They are friendly and this time they didn't have exactly what we needed but they found something that worked. I've gone to them over some years now I have always been treated kindly and the price was reasonable

I was told $70.00 each tire = for a slightly used good tire to be balanced and mounted with me disposing of the old tires. I was there for 2 tires.

However a 3rd tire was found and I rather wait to have it put on my car until a 4th tire was available.
So I purchased all 3 tires. 2 of the tires were balanced and mounted. 2 original tires I disposed of in my car. As well as the 3 rd tire I purchased. I was told since I was disposing of the tires and not having the 3 rd tire mounted or balanced. Those were fees I would not be charged.
I paid for my tires thinking I would be charged what I was told originally.
However I was charged for all 3tires being mounted and balanced, as well as disposal for all 3 tires.
I would not suggest this place due to the fact that I felt taken advantage of and over charged.horrible experience.

This is the place for tires in Ames. THE place. I used to shop at Sam's Club but this place is competitive and I'm spending my hard earned money with a mom and pop local business.

I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back again! Service was excellent and the owner and his staff was friendly. Not only did they replace two tires but be balanced and rotated all my tires. They made sure I was left with my two better tires. I just think that's really awesome that they went above and beyond. Thanks guys!

My experience was amazing! I drove in with a couple bald tires and the old guy was very helpful and fast I drove out with four new tires.
