Burger & Company - Spirit Lake, IA reviews
17What a gem of a place, amazing small business owners, and incredible burgers! Creative topping combos, perfectly cooked burgers, and he buns are to-die-for! Every bite is the perfect ratio.
Highly recommend Burger & Co. The burgers were delicious and the beer battered cheese curds were excellent.
1st time eating here. Interesting selection of burgers. Will return to try a different burger.
Great spot for lunch. Sorta a fast casual feel where you order at the counter when you walk in and get a number and they bring the food to your table. I had the “BOT burger” which was bacon, creamy brie cheese, jalapeño, and a wonderful balsamic onion jam. It just all fit together perfectly, the creamy brie with bacon crunch, a little heat from the jalapeño cooled with the jam. Wasn’t too overpowering of a jam which I think happens with a lot of burgers with jam on them. One of the better burgers I’ve had in awhile especially one with all the complex flavors. I also had the “hot tots” which were perfectly crispy with just a touch of Nashville heat and sweet to them. I liked that the sides came with ranch. Which I assume they make in house, definitely has a distinct dill presence, which I enjoy if it’s not too much. Would highly recommend if you’re in town and need a bite. Service was friendly and prices reasonable.
This is a cute little burger shop, more seating outside then in. You put in your order at the counter then they bring the food out to you. Our family of five went here for lunch. The wife and kids all got the BC Burger and enjoyed it. The wife also got the Beer-Battered Cheese Curds which was very good. I ordered a Chicken thigh sandwich, which doesn't appear on their online menu. I was very disappointed in mine. The batter was burnt with very little meat inside. I would go again but stick with the burger.
A Little expensive, and canned sodas instead of fountain but a great place to eat every once in awhile. The burgers make it worth it.
Hands down, the BC burger is the best burger I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Will DEFINITELY be back to eat again!
We stopped for lunch during a visit to the lakes. The food and service were outstanding with a unique menu. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area.
Absolutely wonderful place. My 4 star rating is because I rarely give 5 star reviews. With that said, the place is awesome. Atmosphere is fun. It’s easy to figure out the menu and order. We came on one of the hottest days of the summer so seating outside wasn’t really optional, but I would say that they could use a little more space for seating. Prices are on the higher side, but so is the quality of the food so it’s worth it.
I had the bacon jalapeño burger and hot tots. Wife had the smoked Gouda burger and cheese curds. The kids had cheese burgers and fries. The toasted buns are part of the magical taste of the burgers. Next time I’ll try a different type of sandwich (chicken).
If you’re in the area and don’t mind the prices (sides and drinks not included in price of burgers), you need to try this place out.
The woman at the counter gave great suggestions that helped us decide what to order. Excellent burger and fried cauliflower!
Stopped in just as they opened. The sandwiches were awesome! Tator tots and dill sauce was *mwah* great! Will definitely be back!
We stopped by today for lunch and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere - highly recommend!
The Nashville hot tots are my go to with their dill ranch the best ranch in the area my girlfriend really loves the fried pickle burger and the cheese curds
Great food, great people, but if you get the burger bag, the cheese is NOT on the side.
Great sauce, and spicy tots, dad loved
Order at the counter, food was very good and creative. Seating was all hardwood and I like a little more comfort. There is one restroom and it was gross.
A little pricey 3 burgers and a small fry was $35, fries were very salty, quick and friendly service
