Buxton Park Arboretum, Indianola IA

Lovely park to go on a walk, have a picnic or bring kids to play.love the flowers, sandbox and the musical instruments

This park is beautiful located in the midst of Simpson college. The trees are nicely marked with recognition given in memory of significant people. There is a nice little play area for little kids and beautiful flowers along the way.

What a jewel! Lots of small garden beds, a wide variety of trees, plenty of benches and winding paths make this small arboretum a great place to visit.

Very beautiful gardens. The different types of garden beds was nice and they were all well cared for.

The gardens and the fountains and the trees are absolutely gorgeous. I sat on a bench in the shade and just enjoyed the kids biking through the paz and the birds fluttering from tree to tree. Oh really great park to sit and relax in.

The city does such a wonderful job with the gardens here. I try to pass through during my daily dog walks at least once a week, to see what's blooming.

Nice but tiny. We went a little out of our way and it wasn't worth the drive. You can walk from one side to the other in about 1 minute

Buxton Park is so beautiful and relaxing! A group of friends meet there once a week and I look forward to those couple hours.

Love taking my daughter and dogs for a walk and strolling through buxton park. We always play the musical instruments they have there.

This is a nice sized park with plenty of flowers and trees and places to sit. It also has a little bit of art work. And an All American Selection planting.
