Awesome food and employees! I had The Gator tail appetizer, and the crawfish platter. Both were Delicious!

First time eating here. We were there 10/20/23. The waitress we had was really nice. The food was really amazing. So many choices to pick from that looked good. We will be coming back for sure.

We dined at Buzzard Billy's prior to the plandemic. Great food! Friendly, prompt, and courteous service. Our only suggestion was turn on some lights! Lunchtime and it was so dim reading the ample menu was difficult.
Update! We once again had lunch at Buzzard Billy's the last week of September, '23. What a difference, and in the best way! Bright and cheery with a great menu and even better service! Easy access with plenty of on-street parking. The decor is interesting and the service is outstanding but the food is what will bring us back!

My server Sarah was amazing! She recommended a dish (crescent city chicken) I tried and it was amazing! She was very friendly and attentive to all her guests. There were a lot of selections to choose from so I was grateful for the help. The service was fast and the food delicious!

We ate on the patio here before a concert. It was busy but the service and food was fast and great.

The poutine is fantastic. So many choices! The Hot Brown was to die for. There are many more I want to try.

Catfish strips were great. Chicken & sausage gumbo was not very good at all. Waitress didn't charge us for it.

Had a stay cation downtown. Couldn't wait to come here vuz it had been a few years. The food took over an hour, came out cold, and tasted like the salt shaker top fell off. I love salt and I couldn't even eat it. I don't ever complain, I just pay and move on, but my sister complained and the waitress got upset, said some rude things, then took $10 off our $100 bill. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Bad food, bad service, bad prices, bad all around.

I travel all over for work and with family. Best all around food and menu. Highly recommend if traveling looking for great food

Great Food and the Waitress did Everything She could to Help. Even gave my Wife a Free Piece of Cheese Cake for her Birthday. Would definitely go Back Again.

I ordered from here two nights in a row. The food was really good. However, seeing that I ordered takeout, they forgot something in my order each time. First it was the seafood gumbo, the second time was the hush puppies. I think it best to order and eat in, as for pick up or delivery, expect something wrong.

Ordered the Catfish with red beans and rice and it was delicious! My favorite Cajun place in Des Moines, Iowa!

On the day we visited, there was a nice breeze coming off the river which made sitting outside on the 2nd level deck a wonderful experience.

Was my first time there and everything was excellent. The food customer service and atmosphere were all very good! Will definitely be back!

Amazing food I had the Philly cheese steak and it was so good, cheese sticks were huge and amazing as well my friend happy a fish platter and we also had alligator fingers so good

One of the better gumbo's I have ever had. Service was great and even went out of her way a bit to make a better experience for my 2 year old. Fun experience I can't get anywhere else I know about in the dsm area. Will be back again
