Camp At the Woods (Open Year Around), Mason City IA

I would 100% recommend staying here and would definitely stay again, the owner is an amazing guy and there’s is lots of stuff to do (fishing, basketball, playground for kids, ect) I really enjoyed my stay and felt comfortable and welcomed! Do not miss out on this beautiful campground!

Tubing was fun until I drowned my new phone, lost my new flip flops, and $20 worth of candy. And got a huge bruise on my leg from trying to escape the rocks went overboard.

Been there for about a week it’s beautiful during the winter and i plan to be a permanent great owner’s very helpful with anything ran out of propane and Ray hooked me up with a different tank to have heat can’t wait for summer months to see what it’s like. I recommend this place for others to go camping

Ray & Melissa are the best hosts! We've been here about 6 months & being completely newbies to there RV life, he was always there to help us when we needed it! Melissa would host events for the campground to enjoy! We would definitely stay here again. We will miss y'all!

Stayed here for 5 months while working out of town. Very nice place. They take really good care of the campground. Very helpful staff. Had a great time while here. Thanks to everyone here for a great stay.

Stayed 6 months great campground with a owner that goes out of his way to help. Great place if you been rv’ ing for a long time or a newbie

We stayed for almost 3 months here for work. The owners are great hosts and the site are very well maintained. Ray, the owner works day and night to maintain the property. If we work in the area again, we wouldn't stay anywhere but here. They are very accommodating.

It is a peaceful, campground right on a creek. Nice wildlife in the area including a bald eagle nest on the access road. The owner is nice. They have cabins and camping trailers for rent.

Very nice hosts and we were very well taken care of. Pet friendly and our cat was happy to be there also. Thanks for everything.

Great place to stay. We stayed there when husband was in the area with work. In the middle of the winter. The owner was awesome. Very helpful and understanding. Is a beautiful camp ground even in the winter
If he work in the area will for sure return.
