Camping World of Cedar Falls

I love my camper. I loved my salesman. My orientation walk through with Arvin (sp) was WONDERFUL. My issue is with finance. I have excellence credit. The signs inside the camper are deceptive. If the loan isn’t over 10k, you can’t get 10 yr financing, so the higher my down payment, the higher my interest rate and shorter the loan term. I was coming in from Minnesota, so details were important. The credit reporting companies were pinged 4 times. I was told my interest rate was to be 6.2. Once Shane started going through Good Sam membership (the GAP insurance), a very long talk disguised as a benefit. I was even told my 2021 camper would be worth half the lot price the moment I drive off the lot. Once I turned down the upsell, Shane got very abrupt. Not kind. No eye contact. And the finance papers come up and were rushed through. I wanted the longer term, lowest rate-PERIOD. I stopped signing when I saw my rate was 7.79. I can go on and on. It got straightened out, all new paperwork created. In the end, I was about to leave the lot when I realized my initial deposit was not returned, or part of the down payment! I tried to go back to ask Shane, but he was too busy to speak to me. Taylor, my salesman, jumped through HOOPS for me. I trust the deposit of $500 was destroyed after 2 days of texts and follow up calls. This would be a five star rating if I didn’t feel so manipulated and disrespected. I am so cautious to not make impulsive purchases! Perhaps you could email us a few term/interest/payment options, as well as GAP information? Just suggestions.

5 stars for the salesman Tom Berns! Great guy to deal with. We live 248 miles from this camping world and he took the time to make a video of the camper for us. Helped us make a decision on whether to do the drive.

5 stars to the person who did the walk through of the camper.

4 stars for the Camping World Dealership on all the extras they want to sell you after purchasing the camper. Insurance etc.

Was absolutely thrilled with the experience of purchasing our new travel trailer from our salesman (Tom), and all of the rest of the team we interacted with when we picked up our new toy!

Sadly I have to update my review of this Camping World once again. I had initially given an critical review of this Store but amended it after the General Manager resolved my small issue. Now we have a $2000 issue over an extended warranty issue and the problems we experienced earlier are back but now on steroids. We have tried for weeks to get a call back from the Finance Department to no avail. We even contacted our Sales Person for help but after saying he'd follow up, still no call back. After over a month, still can't get a call back to get a refund on an extended warranty we need to cancel since we sold the RV. I really don't know what it will take to get this handled since we've also contacted Camping World Corporate and they too, have not lived up to their commitment to call back in 48 hours. I guess honoring commitments is a top down problem and as lifetime RVer's we will likely not go back to CW for RV's or parts. Its sad since they are becoming a "camping monopoly". I will update my review if they resolve the issue but sadly, I'm very frustrated with this
Camping World store and now all of the locations. I guess this really is a "buyer beware" situation.

To be fully candid, I did have an issue with this dealership but after getting to the right person, it was resolved well beyond my expectations.

Patrick was fantastic to work with. He listened to what are needs and what we wanted and found the camper that we were looking for. Justin was great answering any questions and very helpful. All the staff are friendly and great to work with. We are very glad we stopped in.

Tom Berns was super great to work with. Tom showed us many campers and helped us narrow our search down to find the perfect one for us! We traveled to several dealers to find the perfect camper to fit our needs. Our Camping World experience was awesome! We were treated like family. Yvan, our technician, showed us how everything works and was very knowledgeable. Thanks to Charlie Metcalf, our salesperson and Josiah for helping us complete the deal. Special thanks to Nikki for making us feel like VIPS and spending time with us going over all the perks of buying in Cedar Falls. We are happy campers!

Shouldn't have to leave a review to get something done here. Have never heard anything good about this place.to the general manager that just called me, Jessica clay is my daughter. Just one instance where nothing gets done.

Matt (sales) was great. He was knowledgeable about the camper we were looking at and he knew what other options were on the lot. Curt (technician) was very thorough & answered all of our multiple questions. Nikki was also thorough in her "this is what's also included" information. I would recommend this facility.

I had quite a few warranty repair issues with a 5th wheel purchased from Camping World. Several claims were declined by the mfr and CW Service dept couldn't reproduce A/C problems. I was initially very upset with the situation, but MIke (GM), Chad (Ops Mgr), and especially Billy (Service Advisor) did a great job going above and beyond to turn things around for me. Thanks Camping World of Cedar Falls-I'm now a Happy Camper!

Very exciting day for us today, we are picking up our new camper. The ppl here are very friendly and very helpful. This is our first camper and they are making it easy for us to figure out how things work. Thank you Nikki, Cody, landon and all the ones who helped make this experience a success <3

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We had just started our camper search and just wanted to “look” through them. They made us sit down in the sales office before we even laid eyes on a camper and expected us to tell them how we would be paying for it. Again before we even set foot on the lot! Used car salesman attitude and the young manager with the dip in his mouth couldn’t have been more creepy. Go somewhere else! Anywhere but here.

Great place to shop and if you need help finding anything, ask the lady at the front desk named Nikki. She is always willing to help you with a smile.:)

While dealing with Camping World I've had Great support from Nikki Fradette in Warranty and Ryan Bartlett in Service! They both have been very helpful with all my questions and problems. Good Job!
