They was so helpful to me and my family as always and i thank them and god for all that they do
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service and very greedy. My father went to buy some silverware at the Thrift shop and asked how much for some silverware they had, he was told a certain price for the set of silverware. His bill came to 90.00 after buying a few other things. He got to his car and realized he was over charged. He went back in to ask the women why he was charged that much, she proceeded to tell him that she charged him for each piece of silverware instead of as a set. He asked for a return because he went there looking to bargain shop as he did not have a lot of money. She said no you walked out the door with them. Completely treated him like dirt and in my opinion very bias. He was charged 45.00 for less then 20 pieces of USED silverware! Greedy Greedy Greedy!
My house burnt Saturday so i rode along to see if I could get any help and got turned away because I lived in Colfax not in altoona
All the volunteers are very friendly and helpful this place is clean and organized. I come here monthly for my food needs.
