16Poor service. Didn't get refill on Chips/salsa of drinks. Margaritas were watered down.
Food was great just not used to the menu, I'm from NC and Mexican restaurants here have different food items.
Veggie fajitas are delicious! Definitely fresh, not just a frozen bag from Walmart warmed up on the grill. Everything is always wonderful, and we love stopping here for Sunday brunch.
The service and atmosphere are good it’s a shame that the quality of the food is poor. It’s sad that the chips are the best part of the meal.
I really like the food. The service is very good as everyone is so friendly. I’d give them a 5 out of 5 except the last two times I ate there I ordered beef burritos a la carte but they brought me the burrito plate instead. Still good but more calories than I wanted to eat.
The best Mexican food in Central Iowa. Wonderful fresh and light chips with great queso and salsa start the adventure.
Picadillo nachos & taco salad were awesome. The shredded beef is tender & you get a lot of it.
This place has a great selection of food and very kind, helpful staff. The location in Perry is easy to get to and the atmosphere is great for a larger group or a few folks.
If we could give 0 stars we would. After waiting 45 minutes to get our dinner ordered it was very cold. The drink service was also not good. Most of the serving staff was on their phones while customers sat waiting to be served or orders taken.
Took an out of town friend here.bragging the service and food is good… we sat for almost 2 hours.asked for salsa for the chips twice… waiter came and apoligized for our order not being entered and offered free margaritas… that were aweful…
Charged 47 dollars.for 2 meals we bagged up.and 2 margaritas we didnt drink…
Pick Up Order today! Lunch Combination: Chicken Chimichanga with Rice & Beans. It was very good! I will return!
We have loved to visit here, came twice this week while on spring break. Out first visit we waited over 30 minutes for food but it was really busy. The food was subpar and seems to be declining. Today we ordered steak fajitas and the meat was light in color and tasted bland. Fajitas are generally charred and the beef is dark and tasty, but not here.
Service was below average. A table of 7 probably needs more than two bowls of chips. Salsa, and queso. We waited over 15 minutes to order. We had to request refills for water.
When finished we asked for booze and the server actually rolled her eyes at us. The same people have served us for years, and things have changed here. It's no longer the Go To Mexican place in Perry.
One of the pioneers of Mexican food in Perry! They've been in business for a very long time and have expanded to other towns.
We went Wednesday evening and it wast real busy. Service was fast and all orders were served hot and correct. Food was good. The menu had a lot to choose from. Music was a little loud and we had a had time talking and hearing each other.
Love this old building repurposed into the best Mexican food in Perry! Didn't take any photos as I was too busy stuffing my face with chips and queso!
The atmosphere is always amazing good food and friendly everyone that works there are wonderful
