Cedar River Garden Center reviews
17I contacted Cedar River Garden Center about delivering enough river rock for 100 sq ft of landscaping. They were super quick with a quote, and exceptionally well-priced. Delivery was fast and easy. Would absolutely, definitely recommend them!
Beautiful, healthy and well organized selection. Staff is friendly and knowledge. I enjoy going here each spring for my outdoor annuals.
I love shopping private local shops, and while Cedar River Garden Center in Palo has grown to a rather LARGE garden center, they are still locally owned and offer Fantastic Products & Service
Pros: Insane selection, really low prices, super healthy plants.
Cons: everyone knows the pros and it gets really busy
Jeanette thanks for your help, don't forget to pick up boxcar willie, can't wait for it to warm up so I can plant. Shirley
Above & beyond. The staff definitely on point and want/care to be there! My day was glorious because this hot spot was so so great?
Wonderful people; incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Just discovered them this year, and I can't say enough about their professionalism. The guys who planted our tree were awesome! Great prices and quality products. I'll be going back for more.
Be sure you understand their Plant Guarantee Policy. The “guarantee” only cover 50% of the original cost (not really much of a guarantee if we’re being honest) of their “robust quality plant material” that then dies after planting by their staff. Fine to not have the labor refunded (or guaranteed), but your guarantee will only be in the form of store credit, not a refund. One would think they would value their customers more than that. I’ll take my business to Earle May.
Cedar River in Palo is always our first stop for our garden needs. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and has the best plant specimens in the area.
What a bunch of great people I never knew that there was good people like that in the world still this nice lady gave me free pepper plants tonight Thank you so much girls have a blessed week
It was fabulous. They had great plants, well priced, and there were some terrific bargains.
Love love looooove this place! Great selection, amazing/helpful employees. Would highly recommend.
This place has an amazing atmosphere! I never felt looked down upon like I have at other greenhouses for being far more interested in veggies/fruits than other landscaping plants. The variety was spectacular- they even had Aunt Molly's ground cherry starts! I couldn't believe it. The people working were friendly not only toward me, but also my young boys, who like to run and yell about pretty plants. Will definitely be retuning, and soon.
Well, it was a drive, but the staff is helpful and they have a GREAT selection of plants, decorations, and landscaping materials.
Good selection of flowers and trees. At this time of year it seemed as though they didn't have alot in stock. But its also super early in the planting season so im guessing that, along with them having the rebuild a few of the green houses from the storms we had last year, had alot to do with the selection. Good prices and they are a locally owned shop I believe, so I would rather go to them than the big box stores to buy flowers. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere.
Great selection of annuals and perennials as well as garden accessories. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were able to find bird feeder mounting brackets that fit our unusual deck handrails, here.
Lupine I bought at Cedar River Garden Center last year. Had to dig down about 24 inches, because Lupine have a 20 inch tap root, then added sand and peat moss. This is the result a year later! Thanks CRGC!
