Cedar Run Pet Boarding and Daycare, Hiawatha IA

Great kennel/daycare. This was our first time there and my wife was nervous. Being able to see our dog playing with other dogs on their web cam throughout the day helped calm that fear.

My dog is always so excited when she gets to spend time at Cedar Run! The staff is always friendly and helpful. We did the puppy training course and it helped get the basics for our sweet pup, and now we always bring her for daycare and grooming.

This place is awesome! The people are awesome! Training, Daycare, Boarding, Grooming. Our dog LOVES Cedar Run and gets sooo excited about going!

Our dogs favorite thing is spending time at Cedar Run. They love playing with the staff and other dogs. The staff is always friendly and there is always a personal touch to how they take care of your pets. Very trustworthy

Our puppy goes here for daycare. He likes it a lot and has made new friends. He is generally exhausted when he gets home. The staff are friendly and seem to love the animals.

We boarded our German Shepherd here for the weekend and were so impressed! Friendly staff, daily reports on how he was doing so we didn't have to worry, and they took pictures of him to send with it! Super fair prices as well and easy to book.

My dog had the best time at daycare at Cedar Run and came home happy and tired out from all the fun. The staff are very kind and attentive and let me know how my dog did during the day. We were just visiting the area, but if I lived here I would take my dog to Cedar Run all the time.

I can't recommend Cedar Run Boarding and Daycare enough. Our pup gets groomed here regularly, attends daycare and had been boarded a few nights. The staff truly loves him and are SO great to work with. To top it all off, we recently got married and the staff went above and beyond to help make our day extra special by helping us include our pupper. We <3 Cedar Run!

I have a one year old aussie and decided to take her here one day to get pampered and groomed for her birthday (mind you we are not originally from this area) and the people there were so nice and did a great job cutting her hair. They also threw in a free hour or two off day camp considering it was her first time and the puppers was nothing but smiles when I picked her up, she was so happy. Now, it's the only place I ever go to get her groomed. Very recently I called to set up a time to get my dog in for boarding plus day camp as I was going to be away for the weekend and again they were very friendly and accommodating. Only a week later, my s/o tells me his dog needed a place too (very last minute). So I called back as soon as I could in a panic and they worked with me! They were very understanding, they asked all the right questions, and we got BOTH dogs in with nothing but good vibes. Personally I was expecting it not to work with it being such short notice but I honestly cannot say I've had a better experience with anyone else. They are simply the best.

This place is the best! My husband and I moved here with our 3 dogs in June we have since had to board them about 4 or 5 weekends. I was very apprehensive about someone I didn’t know taking care of our dogs but I have since been pleasantly surprised. They are phenomenal. Very clean, safe, well run facilities and they make sure our dogs are as comfortable as possible. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Jazmine's first stay.what a difference from her previous kennel. Her demeanour was completely different when I picked her up. She wasn't pulling me out to the truck and crying all the way home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We definitely made a good move!

Cedar Run has the best staff and they take great care of our 2 Chocolate Labs! Our girls always love going to camp. They also do a great job trimming their nails. I don't know how they get it done because there is no way one of our dogs will let us near her to trim her nails. Thanks for the great care Cedar Run!

The guy was very friendly when I dropped my cat off for vacation. However, when I got back it was a different story.

My cat is the friendliest cat you will meet. She has only hissed at one person in her life and it was because this person hurt her. She hissed at the same guy I dropped her off with. He grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and tried to put her in her carrier, but then he dropped her (basically almost throwing her) and she crawled under the condo. I couldn't get her in the carrier after that. When I got her home she was starving! And she shook the whole way home.

My cat also was supposed to get stitches out while I was gone. I asked him if a vet would be in to check on the animals and he said yes, and that when the vet came she would take them out. When I picked her up the stitches were still in, so when I asked the guy about them he said he never told me that and that they don't provide that service.

This has been a horrible experience and I wish I knew what happened to my cat, because she is terrified. I will not be using this service again.

At our 1st visit they took our Cavapoo and let him get comfortable to the place and let him play with another smaller breed behind the counter before he went in the back.they seem to be very caring and friendly their with all the pets there.
They did a really nice job grooming our pet.
We are getting ready to make his next appointment in the next few days.
