Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, Waterloo IA

Very nice and peaceful to walk and observe all of the different varieties of plants and trees. I do wish there had been more signs identifying the various varieties. There were some signs, but not enough.

Beautifully maintained botanical gardens. They offer scooters and wheelchairs if you bring your own make sure it’s heavy duty because part of the walking trails are unpaved gravel roads and you may get stuck. The scooter they offer is for more advanced users. Once you have a mode to experience these trails they are lush and well maintained by volunteers and donations are appreciated and encouraged and NEEDED to continue to make improvements to allow all the public access to the tranquil gardens.

It wasn't open when I went but it was a nice little walk around the labyrinth.

Great place to visit with the family and walk around. The kids loved the kids area and exploring all the fun things in it.

A beautiful area for all ages. Excellent landscaping and a wide variety of plants.
