I am looking for a house for my daughter in Cedar Rapids. I found a listing and made an Verbal offer. We exchanged verbal offers and settled on a price so we submitted a written offer. Before they accepted the offer, they got another offer and then sent my realtor a message asking if I wanted to amend my offer. Accepting another offer was legal at that point, but ethically questionable. Asking if I wanted to amend was an attempt to start a bidding war, which is also ethically questionable. If you use this agent, beware!

Is out for himself. Don't trust his words. There are much better options than Chad or this branch of Remax in Cedar Rapids.

Chad made promises that he had no intention on keeping. Being lied to is not very honorable trait of a realtor. If he lied to me he will to you also. I now know why they say selling and buying a home is so stressful. Chad made things 10 times worse.

Chad insured me the rental property was clean prior to moving in. He could not make time to show it. I have allergies to mold and specifically asked about past water damage. He said the property never had water damage. The second we walked in I could tell this was a lie. Chad refused to return the deposit. Pretty shady if you ask me. Dont trust Chad.

Chad misrepresented the facts about a property. He violated the agent customer relationship by misapprpiating funds. When confronted, Chad could not see the issue with being unethical. I would steer clear of this Remax branch and Gloede Properties. This is my opinion.
