Doctor and staff are nice. Last year my lenses and frames cost $700 total. This year lenses went up $850 for same vision lenses. I paid full price last year. Watch out on price gouging!

I have a special needs son, and the staff in Chariton was amazing and very courteous. It was the best experience we have had at an eye doctor ever. So glad we decided to start going there.

I didn’t mind my experience with the Doctor, he did recommend the first pair of contacts that actually fit comfortably. It was when I was buying contacts and glasses that I ran into an issue. They told me a total of over $500 after double coverage insurance. I didn’t buy anything then, I double checked with my insurance companies. I went back fully informed on my insurance coverage and spent less than $200 for contacts, glasses, and the exams. If you do go here go fully aware of what your insurance will cover and make sure they break the costs down so you know exactly what you’re being charged for.

Service is poor, prices are subject to unexplained changes, I ended up with a pair of glasses I can't use and will have to go elsewhere to get proper frame/lenses. I've made 4 trips since Nov 26 (when I got the glasses) to try to remedy the problems with the lenses. The shoddy frame was a problem since I got them (and I've mentioned that every time), and after my visit there 2 weeks ago the right earpiece fell apart and I'm now told I have to buy a new pair of frames because these weren't warranteed. Rochelle quoted me two different prices to replace the frames, which I refused. The original price was changed on me twice, too. That was after the hard sell to try to get me to buy more expensive frames. I am absolutely disgusted with this place.
