Chongs is a gem. They have so many interesting items and its hard to go in there and not buy something. If you are looking to find something to spice up dinner or just any meal, chongs is perfect.

It is a very good Asian market. It has a good collection of hotpot items, Korean food ingredients, Japanese food ingredients too.

Decent selection. Inconsistent pricing. They don’t price every item and sometimes charge more than what is listed. Employees are friendly. Owner not as much.

Hands down the best place in rhe Iowa City area to buy asian food and groceries. They have better selection and prices than anywhere else in Iowa City/Coralville.

I go there to guy Vermont brand curry and the adobo seasoning/marinade. Always super friendly and always finding new things to try. I let my daughter pick out a snack every time we go. There is one older gentleman who works there that always shows her how to open or eat whatever courageous unknown treat she gets. (We call it candy roulette, since most all the packaging is in Chinese, sometimes you have no idea what you're getting lol) Very reasonable, cheap prices. Love that place!

Good selection of Korean, Chinese, and some Indian foods. Be careful buying any ice cream, because the refrigerator isn't always keep them truly frozen. On Wednesdays you can buy some live seafood (blue crabs of shrimp).

I shop here regularly! It has mostly Korean goods, but also some Chinese and Japanese staples. We are very fortunate to have so many Asian stores here in Iowa City. They have a great selection of kimchi, and everything you need to make your own. Sometimes they have fresh crabs and seasonal fruit like lychee. Great place to buy gluten free food!

It's a place you wouldn't really expect if you're not a regular but it has a good vibe. Got the rice water just to see what rice water even tastes like and it's crazy good. Get the rice water.

Amazing selection of Korean foods. Their ramen selection is best I’ve seen in IA. Drove from Quad cities.and well worth it. Great value. My family and I will be return shoppers!

I love this store because of its vegetables that could not be found in USA easily. The egg plants are really good in here. Most of the vegetables are fresh. The prices are not expensive. It has a nice location with plenty of spots for parking.

Pretty great selection. Prices are as expected, somethings are a little high, somethings surprisingly low. Nice place, overall.

Be careful, she put her hand on scales when weigh your vegetables and when you went to get you credit card. I found that and I asked some money back. I weighed vegetables I bought after I came home. I found that some other vegetables she weighted about half a pound more than the actual weight. And dry tofu is charged 20 cents more than they priced.
