26Great. Me and 6 other people saw The Way Back in the middle of the afternoon. And we were way farther than 6 feet apart.
Awful experience the last three times we have came. Six people behind the counter, lines to the door and only two registers running. But they have four registers up front. Explain that? Not good for business.
Decent sound and picture quality, the non stadium seating with reclining chairs is just.a funky combination that leads to not great sight lines for many in attendance.
This was a nice place. Clean restrooms and theaters, comfy reclining heated seats. Lots of choices and I didn't think prices were anymore expensive than other theaters.
The new seating is very comfy albeit a little snug. The prices are a bit high, but the Starbucks coffee is fairly priced. We go about every other month.
$5 Tuesday is a great deal for this theater! A decent snack bar, beer for the adults, heated recliners for seating, clean bathrooms and good service from the staff. All in- a great experience! I did a double feature. Two movies, a large refillable drink and candy- about $20 with the Tuesday deal. BUT- I will gladly come during regular priced movies. Definitely worth it.
I have been thinking that the theater itself is not bad, until I encountered some other problems. Lost my wallet days ago. Called them three times and told them where to look. The only thing the person who answered the phone was good at was saying "we will call you when we find it. " Can you just simply let me know if anyone has searched for it? Now I doubt that. I will give up my wallet and will go to North Grand theater in the future.
Dirty. Takes 3 people to collect tickets. One concession person, no slushies. Popcorn was stale. Not my favorite cinemark
Movie and seats were great concessions were terrible waited for ever to get what we want Very disappointed
Have been going to this theater for years, and have always had a good time. They upgraded all the theaters so all the chairs recline, and are heated! Plus, they're oversize and comfy. They also just redid the front entry, so they’re offering alcoholic beverages! Multiple different types of beer, plus margaritas and daiquiris! Oh, and you now pick your seats ahead of time. You don’t have to worry about getting there early for a good seat.
I like this theater, it's conveniently located and easy to get to. They have matinees running all day long, sometimes beginning as early as 9: 50! The seats are comfortable with electronic recliners. The popcorn always seems fresh, although like all theaters the concessions are far too expensive to get all the time. But for a treat it's okay. They have 3D and 2D version of the same movies sometimes. Plenty of parking spaces!
Good place to go but if North grand has same movie is go there instead better everything seats prices service but movies 12 Does get more movies
Was not allowed in as I was carrying a backpack. I have been here before couple of times and have always enjoyed the shows. But without any notice it is unfair to discriminate against people who carry bags (or don’t have cars to stash their bags in). I am only visiting Ames, and use Uber in most cases. Cinemark should either provide explicit notice about carrying bags or provide lockers to store bags.
Visited from out of town while on RAGBRAI. Nice little theater, good seats except the leg portion of the recliner doesn't extend all the way up.
Perfect every other time but this time I daughter went in to see incredible 2 and when my daughter went to pay your card machine didn’t work, so they had to go inside and buy tickets which did work. Then my girls went to purchase food from the main concessions and not only was her card not working and so was other patrons there, devin came out and said do you cash and my daughters said no and he said I’m sorry you can’t get food. So my girls walked to their movie and noticed that there was another smaller concession and she tried it there and it worked.just not a professional experience for two tweenies.
First time we been to the movies sense the new seats, and their very comfortable. Now just needs adults drinks and we'd go more often
This is a nice theatre, with comfortable seats and a good setting. Tuesdays have fantastic prices, which are great if you want to go have a nice fun time with a group.
This was always a great theater with amazing staff and the latest movies, plus some great classics. With all of the new updates, it's even better.
Wasn’t happy about paying an online fee for tickets. But the movie was great, seats are comfy, leather, heated, a little too cold might want to bring a jacket. Cute little date spot I hate going to the movies but I enjoyed this.
The lobby is fairly dated and worn, but the theaters are updated with leather recliners. Audio and video quality were both good. Snacks are pricey, but not anymore than other theaters.
