One of a kind expensive and a must see truly. A little ways hike up to the tower but it’s beautiful as all!

So, the bad review is only cause I love being out here on my own. It's so peaceful to me.

Best way to experience it. Hike up. It's no more than a mile all the way around. Climb to the top and breathe! Look around and enjoy. This is what makes whiterset so amazing. Makes the world disappear and make you know that there's more out there. Even after the tornado.

Love all of the parks here in Iowa. Big or small they all offer a great insight into history, nature, or a quiet respite from everyday business as usual. The Clark Tower offers some unique perspective in the area from the view to the history.

Great hiking and sites to see here. Spent some time tromping the trails and bird watching. Well worth your time to stop and check out the sights and sounds.

A neat place to visit! Great place to see all the fall colors and the grandkids had a blast! Highly recommend going at least once.

Nice historical stop within Winterset.
The drive up to the site was also very pretty.

Pretty magical place to watch the sunset. Winterset City Park, as a whole, is pretty fantastic. An urban gem that puts you right in the woods.

Beautiful place! The place has a drive where you can get with car or hike to. Just be careful when driving as there is only a one way road and hikers. Is quiet and calm. Is next to a nice park.

An Iowa treasure. And with the bridges of Madison County as well as the hedge maze you can easily make a fun and free day for the family.

Fun stop with a beautiful drive. The view from the top was wonderful. Would certainly like to come back and get somepictures when the leaves change in the fall.

The park and tower was nice to visit. Tower was ok. Nothing I would tell anyone that they had to see, but if in the area worth a checkout. The park has a covered and a cobblestone bridge. It also has some tree sculptors from down trees that are fun to checkout. Eagle, butterfly and bunny, squirrels, gnomes, and a few others including one still in the works. It has several nice pavilions. The one we used had 4 fireplace. There are public restrooms with running water and flushing toilets that were kept up nicely. There is a hedge maze and a couple playgrounds. One was not open for use yet. There are Camping sites for RV's & campers. The town of Winterset was a nice little town a well. Worth a visit if in the area.

Wish there was literature and signage available on-site for this attraction. The roads were a bit unkept so therefore hectic to navigate, but we did enjoy visiting the tower and the views available from it. There was a steel ladder to the top level there, but in serious need of repair as it was only hanging on partway by one rivet, so we did not feel safe trying to use it, and that took away from our ability to enjoy this location to the fullest.

This is a neat place to go, unless you're a Princess, you might get locked in the Highest Room in the Tallest Tower, then you would need Sir Shrek to come and rescue you. Beware of the gravel road, this place is NOT HCA.

This whole park and surrounding areas are wonderful. There's playgrounds, walking and hiking paths, a hedge maze and shelters you can rent. I love to go to the beautiful creek that is outside the park. It's a fossil and bone hunter's dream! Definitely check it out if you're in the area and in need of nature!

There is a little bit of tornado damage still but they appear to be clearing it out.
