Colonial Village Apartments reviews
8 DO NOT MOVE HERE.
God awful.
The apartments look nice on the surface, they need a lot of work done.
Office will not answer the phone for you.
They are only nice when you’re touring and will ignore you after you sign the lease.
Staff is never available and refuses to help with any issues that may arise.
Apartments are not well put together but you likely won’t notice until after you move in - then you will have to fend for yourself.
Maintenance is nonexistent. Management refuses to answer phones and will not open the doors to allow you to speak to them in person.
I applied for an apartment and paid $380 just to apply. I was told if denied I would get $300 back for admin fee and deposit. It’s been 45 days and I still have no refund and the office seems not to care. My next stop after corporate will be the business bureau. Wouldn’t even recommend trying to live there honestly
Rhia, the manager, is so sweet! She’s such a ray of sunshine. She took us on a tour and made us feel welcome the entire time. I’ve gone to many apartment complexes, but this one really stuck out to me! The rooms are very nicely sized and the living room is spacious! The dining area is a nice, dark vinyl and there are plenty of closets for storage. I can’t wait to move in!
I currently live at colonial village. My air conditioning has not been working for almost a week now. The office has been closed every time I’ve gone to talk to them and they won’t answer the phone. We’ve called the office, put in a work order online, called the emergency maintenance number, tried everything. We had finally gotten ahold of the emergency maintenance and he said he’d come look, then never showed up. We tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. I’m on the third floor, my apartment is currently 88 degrees. I am a single mother with four kids 7 and under. The least they could do is respond. Do not recommend living here. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with them either.
I toured these apartments with my sister and we were shown around by the manager, Rhia. I am impressed with her level of customer service. She and the lady at the other desk were kind, accommodating, and hilarious! She also answered every one of our questions. It was a great experience!
How can anyone run a business like this? Maybe I should have looked at the reviews before going to see this place but a little basic respect and motivation would a long way for the management of this place.
One leasing office manages 4 properties and my friend and I have had a terrible time getting the management to do anything less than shady with any of them. I showed at colonial village after stating I need a first floor because I can't do any stairs because of knee surgery. I showed up and am told there are stairs to get down to the first floor. So I said ok small misunderstanding there. So u asked about the other 3 properties and she straight up told me to avoid woodland west because it is so unclean and mismanaged that she thinks they should just tear it down and start over which was very off putting. Finally she suggested I go look at the Robin hill apartments and we set a time and she told me she would meet me in front of the Robin hill apartments. This was after she told me she was completely lost with her leasing assistant that no longer worked there.
The next week I show up at Robin hill for the showing and waited an hour no one showed up. I called the number for colonial village multiple times. No answer. I called the number for Robin hill multiple times. No answer. Left multiple voice-mail and it has been a month now. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK! I sent her a text I sent her an email never heard back on those either. I also rang the buzzer for the Robin hill office and obviously no one was up there.
My friend has trying to view the Washington manor property and it was like pulling teeth to get them to communicate and help her too
Office staff are terrific sources of information. Doors and hallways seem designed to facilitate furniture moving. A very positive experience.
