Cook Fence Co, Robins IA

We have used Cook Fencing for two major fencing projects. We have always been impressed with their quality of work and knowledge about their product. One of our fences is now ten years old and stands just as straight as the day it was put in! Would highly recommend for your fencing needs!

Update 10/2022: I just had Cook Fence replace my cedar fence that was damaged in the local derecho. The quality, speed, and workmanship are still spot on. It is such a pleasure watching professionals like these guys execute their craft. I’m so glad I paid a deposit early in the summer to hold my spot. Chuck is still Chuck. Dan is still Dan. And all of the guys still do beautiful work.

This review is long overdue. Cook put in two fences for me in two separate homes. On both occasions the work was done to perfection, and the people were attentive and responsive. They finished the jobs without ever leaving me hanging. I have had a zero problems with either of the fences and that is pretty rare for contractors in this day and age. They also did some repairs for me throughout the years after landscapers and other people damaged the chain-link fences around both properties.
I give this company the absolute highest recommendation. Chuck in particular is a great guy to deal with. Dan too. The next time I need a fence these will be the only guys I call.

Cook's installed our fence in half a day. When I changed my mind about a gate's placement and wanted to add a gate last minute they were accommodating and understanding.

Not impressed with customer service. We had a 9: 30 am appointment at a home we are buying. We showed up 10 min early and at 9: 35 called because they had not shown up yet. Was told by the guy on the phone he would call to see where Danny was and if he was running late. 10 min later he calls to say there must have been a mix up in times and they were there at 9am. I asked if they could swing over because we had taken time off work for this appointment and his response was that Danny did not mention doing that. I would think they would want to make an effort to make this right but didn't. A courteous call would have been nice if they were actually there at 9 as we could of hurried over.

We had to do a full replacement to our privacy fence due to the Derecho. Cook Fence was responsive and competitive with pricing. When they came out to start the job, they walked thru the site with me prior to make sure we were on the same page. They finished the job when they told me they would and even worked thru some snow conditions to stay on schedule. My wife and I are ecstatic with the quality of work. I was able to watch some of the work they were performing and the detail with which they measured and balanced the posts and panel boards was very professional. The panels are all perfectly aligned and the gate doors are structurally sound and strong. I would highly recommend Cook Fence for any fence project.

My mother n I have been trying to get a hold of Cooks for 2 months. No answer!? Are they even in business.

Cook Fencing did a great job on our black chain link fence last spring. Very friendly and professional.

Called and scheduled for a quote over two weeks ahead of time. I specifically asked them to call us when they were on their way as it is new construction so no one is living at the home, and we would meet them there. They told us to expect them around 11-11: 30 but would call. We arrived around 11: 05am, and waited until 11: 30 and no one showed. I called at 11: 30 and was met with a rude, argumentative employee who stated that we were a “no show”. I explained how it is being built currently and no one lives there, that is why we asked to be called when they were on there way. He just proceeded to tell me we were a no show. Disappointing. We’ve used them for fences on two other homes and our business. We will no longer be using them.

Good fencing company even though I only bought material and ran short on hardware they made sure to make it right.

Couldn't be happier with the work Cook Fence Co did for us. I don't normally give reviews, but the customer service was amazing. The crew that came out was very professional, and was great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to put up a fence. Thanks again!
