Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ, Bettendorf IA

First time at Crave with my husband and friends, staff were super friendly and very helpful going over the self pouring beer selection. We were able to sample a few before making final decisions which was great! Ax throwing was super fun, takes a few throws to get used to if you’ve never done it before. Will be back.

The wasn't it that day I came in. Idk who was cooking but I ask for the cheese stick why is the crust burn but yet the cheese wasn't melted plus the tater tots had a frost bite taste. First time here was a disappointment thru the whole meal away.

You would have a good restaurant if you served hot food. Also there was 6 of us all on one order and we got our food 5 minutes apart-cold. To bad. Great atmosphere and fun place but you need to up your game or you’re going belly up! The way you have fun stuff for the kids is great!

Just had the ribs. They were fantastic. Wife had the pulled chicken awesome. Hot dogs were very good and tasty. Brother-in-law had pulled pork he loved it. Will return often Nate is the general manager

Very good vibe, looks nice, good amount of food. Can throw axes, good sauces. Came here with my boyfriend and had a blast.

New place opened up friendly staff decent service but mostly hot dogs looking for a little bit more

I want to stay that the portions where very good and the food was hot and made fresh. Nate and Melissa were very nice. The restaurant was clean and maintained well. The restrooms were very clean. All and all inwould recommend this place. Thanks again.

We enjoyed our first time here. We all tried something different (brat and chili dog) & grandkids (chicken slider and chicken tenders) and thought everything was good.

We had a group of 7 and went to just eat, drink and hang out. The atmosphere is great, bright, open but not ridiculously loud like a lot of places. The food was good and came out super fast. We did end up trying the ax throwing and this experience was by far the best we have had at any ax throwing venue thus far. Fun computer driven targets that you can change out if you want. The manager and his wife (Nate and Melissa, i believe) were suoer friendly as well! I'd totally recommend Crave to anyone.

We made our first visit around 5: 30 pm on a recent Friday night. The restaurant was clean and the tables were comfortable. The staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We had pulled pork sandwiches, corn nuggets and red skin potato salad. The sandwiches and cole slaw were surprisingly good. The corn nuggets were nothing special and would benefit from some type of sauce on the side. The potato salad was good, but there wasn’t a red skin in sight and the potatoes honestly tasted more like russets. But overall, our opinion of the food is positive.

What isn’t positive though is the way the food came out of the kitchen. You order at a counter, take a number, and then the food is brought to your table…apparently one item at a time! And it wasn’t just us, it was every table in the place. Our sandwiches were out within minutes of ordering but the nuggets were “cooking”. We had to ask for the potato salad when the nuggets were delivered about halfway through our sandwiches. The couple at the table next to us got one meal then the other meal several minutes later. And the folks with all the kids got their plates before the kids got theirs. It’s just an awkward, inefficient way to provide food service and often leaves the table staring at an uneaten plate while waiting for the rest of the table to be served.

We went here Saturday night 11/11 with a small group of friends. Tried out the axe throwing and the many beers on the self serve tap. It was pretty cool and we had a great time. While there I texted some other friends to let them know. It's a hidden gem I feel like and the only axe throwing place in our area. We will definitely go back and even bring our kids the next time, 12 and 9 year old who I think would love to do this as well. What a blast and next time we ll eat there too as we heard the food was good too. The GM Nate took care of us and made the experience even better. Perfect to try something different.

The staff was very helpful, as it was our first time. We reserved an hour of ax-throwing online and ordered food when we arrived. The ax throwing was a lot of fun and the food was really good (we got the Loaded Tater Tots and Brisket Mac and Cheese). We will definitely be going back!

Went out with some friends to craves hotdogs n bbq in Bettendorf. Did a little trivia and axe throwing. Ate some good food. Great atmosphere and good working staff.

I had the chili dog and the tater tots. Very good! The chocolate chip cookies are very good and made on site.

The food and service was Outstanding! I had ordered the Crave Supreme and it was fantastic!

Almost didn’t try it because of poor reviews, but very glad we did! The staff were so kind and accommodating! The axe throwing was fun and the hot dogs were delish! Will definitely be back!

First the good
Verry cool concept of a restaurant. Clean. Decent food. Friendly staff.
Now the ugly.

Atmosphere was non existent on a Friday night.
The food ordering and pickup made us feel we were eating at a concession stand.
The food came out very quickly and was good but one could tell it was a meal made elsewhere that gets reheated quickly and put together. I don't believe anything is smoked in house!
The axe throwing is expensive, perhaps they could entice more customers by having free games with food purchase.
The 3 team members on staff were nice yet very casual, unknowledgeable and again reminded us of a young staff at a concession stand. All in all the flavors were good and we might go back for a quick meal in the future knowing know what to expect.

This place was terrible. Food is overly bland. Customer service was poor as well. The tacos were covered in onion with minimal cheese and basically ZERO BBQ sauce. The jalapeños were minced not even diced and severed in a cup cold. Straight from a refrigerator and even the peppers had a bland low quality taste. Do not reccomend
