Crossroads Mall reviews
16Losing a lot of great stores Should definitely be turned into apartments for homeless people and low income.
Beautiful mall. It's really sad to see how empty it is now. This was the place to be growing up.
I used to love hanging out Crossroads Mall! It's a lovely shopping mall in Waterloo! The Sears was wonderful and the movie theatre too!
This venue is a shell of a former mall. The VERY select few businesses whom have managed to survive in this desolate wasteland, not including pop-up stores, are far and few between. In short, unless you're going to the phone stores in front, don't waste your time, there's not even an ATM.
What Mall? I do miss that one stop shopping. Trying clothes on etc. But I can do it from home. I do like college square trying to get food and dinning in one central spot. I think it could work.
I only give Crossroads mall a 2 star rating as this mall is lacking in stores to shop at. The last time I went to the mall to go to the play area even more stores were closed. Honestly I don't know why this mall is even still open. With that being said this mall is great for mall walking in the cold/hot Temps and does have a play area for kids and kiddie rides.
That mall doesn't have much to offer. Almost all.the stores are going outta business! Its sad, really!
I can't believe this place is actually open! From the outside half of it looks abandoned. You go inside and there are only a hand full of businesses in there. Everything is just closed up
I saw it from our hotel across the street at 5: 30 pm on a Thursday and thought it was abandoned. Much like the mall I grew up near in North Olmsted Ohio. So sad to see. They were thriving and now ghost towns
This mall is in great need of finding a way to attract more customers, most stores have shut down and a few remain. This was always a place I would go to as a teenager and hang out with my friends and now It seems like a forgotten gem. Someone or many should help preserve this place and help to keep it lively.
Was sad to see the change here since my move to Minneapolis Mn. Very few stores. Use to be a happening Mall and fun place to hang out.
I would have given this place 5 stars in the late 90's and early 2000's, but now it is a depressing sight with only memories of the past. Sad to see what it has become.
A pretty DEAD mall, only reason to go there is if you're looking for something specific from a store and getting back out
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and was saddened by the condition of the mall. They have no anchor stores. Younkers, Sears, Gordmans, Dillard's are all empty. (At Home is currently using the bottom level of the old Younkers) location.
The corridors are near empty. Both upper and lower Dillard's corridors have no open retail.
The mall directory has not been updated for years still showing stores that have closed.
While this was once a smaller mall you can see the potential it once had.
Not sure how much longer it will able to survive.
I went to a cloths store across form finish line and the customer service was good they helped me out they have good cloths for 10$ and 20$ you should go there 10/10
It's sad to see crossroads mall wasting unused space with this building. Maybe instead of stores building all these new buildings, they should try fixing up places, or maybe utilizing these places for good things rather then sit there empty for years. Maybe think about a warming center for the homeless, or efficiency apartments to let low income families that are struggling have a chance to get on they're feet with affordable rent? I don't know, these are just my thoughts, so just an opinion.
