If you like waiting 45 minutes for cold mediocre food and terrible service this place is for you

Was so excited that we finally had a Dave & Busters here. Was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a larger game selection. Loved the food and service and will go again

It was our 10 year olds birthday. The boys always enjoy the games. The food is good and beer is cold.

Overall, pretty good place, my only complaints are that it's REALLY loud and it's expensive too.

This is a great place for a fun evening with kids.

Overall, we had a lot of fun playing games! After a few hours of playing we decided it was a good decision to eat some food from the bar and grill. We waited SO long for food, then half of our order came out and we were still WAITING on more. Prices were so outrageous. Please fix this!

Service was HORRIBLE. The bartender was completely inattentive. Food and drinks were way overpriced. Several of the game machines weren't well maintained to function as intended. The atmosphere wasn't friendly or inviting. I see no reason to ever come here again, and unless things change drastically, I'd recommend the same for any reading this.

Walked in the door. This place is supposed to be for adults. Nothing but children. The guy at door was so lost in his cell phone he didn't even care that we were here. We walked right out.

Yesterday by mistake I left my credit card in the place and with a terrible breach of trust MY CARD WAS STOLEN, the manager only managed to say that “it was by mistake” BAD SERVICE, BAD EXPERIENCE.

Went to Dave and buster for the first time. Our friends Wanted to come here to play games and drink some beers. Overall, I think it is a fun place for all ages. I ordered a burger and it didn’t look that good. The burger looked like it has been on a warmer for some time. We ordered wings also and I thought the wings were on point. The service was okay because I think they were short on staff that night. Our waitress was awesome and she made sure we had all what we needed before she went on to another table. It was a fun night and we had plenty of beers.

I didn’t play any games. Sat and watched the game. There was a Bengals fan waiter and was very personable. Gave him a tip. My bartenderress who was wearing Luck Colts jersey was awesome. The manager who was constantly running the floor and making sure things were good. An all around great experience. I will love to return in the future. Thank you for such a relaxing Sunday evening.

This place sucks all around from the price, to the service, to the food and to the horrible bartender Alex.

Shayla is one of the best bar tenders I ever met! Always checking on the customer and I didnt have to wait for one drink

If I could give zero stars I would. They are not tasty for people. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant/ bar ever. Not worth your time or money

Loved Taylor swift night, but the wait for food was way too long.hoping it was just a one night thing. Besides that we had a fun time playing games! Our server Quentin was very helpful with making sure we had everything we needed and more!

I wouldn't recommend Dave & Buster's if I could I would have given them zero stars if that was an option. We had family in from out of state we had 9 people in our party total for my nephew's birthday. With all the hype of Dave and Buster's coming to the Des Moines area a these years. I didn't see the hype all it was was an overpriced Chuck E. Cheese geared towards adults. Nothing about this place is geared towards family friendly or budget friendly. We waited well over our 45 min wait time to be seated then when they finally did seat us at our table we had to wait well over an hour to see our food, we never received our appetizers until reminding our server that we never seen our appetizers we had ordered. Finally we received our appetizers, but not everything we ordered and found out they took our stuff and served it to another table did nothing to make it right for the trouble of absolute poor restaurant hospitality service. Our waitress would serve other tables before ours only a few people at our table were offered and given refills. Never again will I be back in a Dave and Buster's. It reminded me of an Iowa State Fair on Eastside night with the trashy skanky majority of the people that were in there were dressed not really family friendly dress attire for a supposedly "family friendly" establishment this place is definitely a money pit / trap. If you've never been to a Dave and Buster's save your time and money and go else where to eat then go to Check E. Cheese afterwards. You will not only save money, but leave both places happier. P. S. The menu is small for option choices and how do you run an arcade and not have Skeeball as an option? I see Dave and Buster's closing as fast as they opened if things don't change for the better you've only been officially opened for a month and a half and you already have other bad like reviews. Your going to end up a vacant building in the Jordan Creek mall district just like Joe's Crab Shack. All I can say is thanks but no thanks for a non memorable first and last experience all in a one night setting.

**** Update I reached out to the Guest Relations Representative per the said "Owners" reply to my initial review immediately, only for it to fall on Deaf ears no one follows up with you. We never heard any correspondence from anyone from Dave and Buster's guest relations dept. So that was just a default message that they obviously tell all their guests. P. S. It's been 3 weeks since our visit and review this place is clearly a money pit like the midway Carni's at a state fair or carnival take your money and run.

WARNING! SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED $ & GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! WE ARRIVED WITH 2 ADULTS & 1 CHILD @5PM & THERE WERE SEVERAL EMPTY TABLES THAT WERE CLEANED & READY, YET WE HAD TO WAIT 15 MINUTES FOR THEM TO "CLEAN A TABLE. " WE HAD TO WAIT FOR MENUS FROM THE HOSTESS BECAUSE SHE DID NOT BRING THEM ALONG. WHEN THE SERVER FINALLY CAME TO OUR TABLE, SHE TOLD US WE HAD TO WAIT WHILE SHE STOOD THERE FOR 5 MINUTES & MESSED WITH HER TABLET. WHEN SHE WAS DONE, I ASKED HER A QUESTION ABOUT A SANDWICH & SHE SAID, "I DON'T KNOW", & THEN JUST STOOD THERE & STARED AT ME. WHEN I ASKED HER NICELY TO FIND OUT, SHE WENT & GOT THE MANAGER TO TELL US, INSTEAD OF ASKING A COOK. THEN SHE WOULD NOT ASK ME WHAT I WANTED TO DRINK OR TAKE OUR MENUS. WE WERE GIVEN OUR DRINKS WITH NO STRAWS, INCLUDING MY SON'S MILK THAT HAD A LID, & WE WEREN'T GIVEN ANY SILVERWARE. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT OUR FOOD, THEY TOLD US WE HAD TO WAIT ON MY CHILD'S PIZZA. IT WAS AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THEY FINALLY BROUGHT IT OUT. WE HAD TO BEG FOR OUR TICKET SINCE OUR SERVER DIDN'T BOTHER COMING AROUND. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. THE FRIES WERE HALF HARD & HALF SOGGY. WHEN WE USED THE BATHROOM, THERE WAS A MESS EVERYWHERE, NO TOILET PAPER OR PAPER TOWELS. WE HAVE BEEN TO THE OMAHA LOCATION & NEVER HAD ANY OF THESE ISSUES. WE WILL NOT BE BACK! IF YOU'RE WANTING TO STILL COME HERE AFTER READING THIS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE & JUST PLAY THE GAMES. BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT SEVERAL OF THEM SAID ATTENDANT REQUIRED BECAUSE OF ETHERNET ISSUES, & NO ATTENDANTS COULD BE FOUND!
