Horrible service. Waiter was completely rude. Huffed, puffed & rolled her eyes when asked for spicy mayo. On top of that they took 30 minutes for my to go order, shorted me 2 rolls, and gave me the wrong roll.

Almost as good as de pork. On a serious note, both of our lunches were excellent we ate it all and had dessert which was also delicious. Service came with a smile and the prices were reasonable. Will be back to try more.

My date and I were looking for a restaurant that had good sushi and salads, and this hit the spot! I had a couple rolls and the pad thai, and both were excellent! She had the papaya salad, and was impressed. The service was really friendly, and our food came out really quick. I would recommend De Rice to anyone looking for a great meal and better service!

Worked in the Urbandale area for 4 months for work, I ate this place almost every single day. De Rice is the bomb. I will miss this place forever and it will be a for sure destination when I return to Des Moines.me and the gang went into the red on de rice on numerous occasions from over indulgence

First timer here: this place was SO good! We came on New Years Day for lunch and our service was quick! The menu has so many great options it took a while for us to decide on what to get! Each meal was so good! You also are able to add heat to your dish if you’d like on a scale of 1-6. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Thai or Japanese restaurant! Probably the best orange chicken I’ve ever had anywhere!

Thai style basil chicken is the best I have ever had! Beautiful atmosphere and amazing service. Super friendly staff and very clean!

We usually enjoy De Rice and go there often with our friends. Wednesday night we invited two out-of-town guests. The food was not up to par! The Healthy Fried Rice (see photos) did not have pumpkin, corn, lima beans (or edamame), chopped cilantro or green onions. As you can see from photos there is also no chicken. Also no garnish of cucumber or lime wedge. It was also fairly greasy. In the Crispy Honey Chicken dish, the pieces of chicken were overly breaded, and at least three of the larger pieces were breading only, no chicken. It was served with raw broccoli (not steamed) and no carrots. My Pad Woon Sen had no egg, the chicken was in a pile underneath the noodles, and the asparagus were stems only and very tough. I did not see any napa cabbage but there might have been a few pieces. Again, it was greasy though I asked for low oil. One guest did enjoy his Basil dish. This was a bummer. We'll try somewhere else next time.

This place continues to impress. Food is always good, staffing/service last couple years has been hit and miss but last couple times is great!

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in town. The specialty tools are large and delicious

First time to dine here. The food was amazing, but we took home enough to feed the 3 of us 2 more full meals. The calamari was wonderful. Our waitress was the best we've ever had.

Stopped for lunch on our vacation for the holiday, and it was all so good! We had the pineapple fried rice, the green curry, and crab Rangoon. All was delicious! Our server was very friendly, we will add this to a favorite stop!

Their fried rice might be the best in town! Great food all-around. We will be back for sure!

Food is excellent as always. Great service great communication. Can't wait to go back. Went to get my buddy his birthday present gift card. Told the gentleman our last trip there was a little under ventful but things happen. Can't wait to get back to the awesome food that they make.

The sushi is fantastic here. It’s fresh and they have so many options. The servers are delightful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. There is a Japanese inspired mural behind the sushi counter and another Thai inspired mural of the Yak (the mythological giant).

Me and my boyfriend I've ordered several Asian dishes from this restaurant and none of them haven't been disappointing all of them have been amazing actually this is one of the very best restaurants I've ever had we order from them frequently

Ordered massaman curry and crab Rangoons. The curry lacked flavor. Also, there was a big black hair in my curry. Crab rangoons were ok.
