These people are compassionate and professional! Experiences with others dentists had left me in a bad state of mind!
With my PTSD my anxiety is over the top.it makes me grumpy and rude.
I was treated with kindness!
Thank you!

Wonderful location and great availability as they're open on Saturday! If I wasn't moving away, I'd remain with them. Highly recommend!

I am so happy my wife found Dentistry on 5th for me, I had an emergency that required a real expert and gentle handling and they were there for me the whole way. I am so excited to have found a dentist and hygienists that really care about their patients.

They did a great with my hard re-line for dentures. They fit comfortably and I dont need to use adhesive anymore. I would recommend to anyone.

I find it dumb I can’t just call like every other office and get scheduled in and fill out documents when I arrive and give them my insurance card I guess they do not do that at all here so the front desk can’t even help what if the patient had disabilities and not access to Wi-Fi I find this very stupid! The fact they can’t help with the first step is dumb founded so what now their lazy now since this Pandemic so sad I’m not even going to schedule with them if they can’t even help a patient get scheduled in! Literally stupid can’t help someone with disabilities either crazy

I would leave 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend had a tooth pulled last Saturday 11/19/22. Since his tooth was pulled, he has been in extreme pain, constant gum bleeding with clots, his surrounding teeth are now loose as well as other issues. He came in for certain services, which still have yet to be provided. My boyfriend and I both have provided insurance and paid our copays. There was no communication with insurance and out of pocket costs until the visits and procedures were completed, even though we requested prior to visits and procedures, we were denied those rights by the front desk. Based on facts from our visits and procedures, we have determined that your office is a scam for insurance companies and preys on clients while providing improper dental care.

Update to owner's gaslighting response:

I called on Monday 11/21/22 at 10: 08am. I called twice on Tuesday 11/22/22 at 9: 04am and 2: 43pm. I again called Wednesday 11/23/22 at 11: 37am. All phone calls went unanswered and messages unreturned and I have the call log to verify this. I don't appreciate your staff being confrontational and harassing via text. Again, we called, left messages with concerns. Those calls went unanswered and messages unreturned. The blame of communication falls on your office. The complications from his improper dental care falls on your office. It's highly inappropriate to blame the patient for your mistakes.

At first, Dentistry On 5th, seemed like a promising dentistry, as it is in close proximity to where I work. Finding street parking or parking in the ramp can be very challenging. If you park in the ramp, Dentistry On 5th does not offer any discount or parking validation.

Getting in the building, using the elevator if not on the ground floor (like from the skywalk), etc.can all be very challenging due to the building or elevator being locked. More information should be clearly communicated to patients.

The waiting/sitting area extends to the hallway outside the office, and feels very crowded.

When I had my cleaning and had to get a filling redone, the office checked with my insurance, and informed me that there would be no cost after my co-pay. Six months later, at my next appointment, I was informed that I had an outstanding balance. The office had not once sent me any correspondence letting me know about the outstanding balance, which should be an expected courtesy.

Dentistry On 5th uses text messaging as an option to schedule and confirm appointments which is great, but it needs big improvement! I was texted at 3: 31 pm and called at 5: 10 pm the day before my appointment to confirm my early morning appointment, and when I confirmed at 7: 54 pm the same day, they responded that they had given my appointment to someone else, and offered me a 1pm appointment for later in the day. Well, I did not see this text, and when I was just arriving to my appointment, I received a call from Dentistry On 5th informing me of the changes because I had not responded to the changes yesterday. I shared that I was already here, but they asked if I could come back at 1pm, instead of saying, sorry for the mix up, we will fit you in.

In neither the text messaging or voicemail, did they say a time when I needed to confirm by or that my appointment would be offered to someone else. I highly advise they start informing patients of this practice in the event a patient cannot respond quickly due to other commitments.

This was the last straw, and have decided to seek a new dentistry.
